Stevie B’s Gym

Now this is a gym. Lots of weights, lots of weight machines and lots of other heavy stuff.
I used to weight train a lot and Stevie B’s provided a spot where I could push my training regimen to the limit (sorry for the totally expectable exercise cliché). It is a gym full of big people or aspiring big people.
A lot of them are body-​builders of some type or MMA fighters, it can be quite intimidating if you take it on face value, but each time I’ve been there I’ve witnessed no trouble whatsoever. Everyone gets on with their sessions with unwavering focus and of course there’s a lot of flexing and swaggering around in between sets but that’s just an inherently male-​athlete like thing to do — it’s all show anyway.
I like Stevie B’s — it provides a no-​nonsense, well-​equipped and purposeful space to hone the finest instrument you’ll ever have — your body.
