A small but busy pub that offers a good selection of real ales. This is a favourite on a real ale pub crawl however have to say that the last few times we have visited the pub has become more uncomfortable with smells from the toilets and undesirable characters; the problem has always been there with the toilets but it seems to be getting worse and there are often undesirable characters in there now-​this isn’t good as the pub really does have good beers.
Another good point is the single malt whiskies on offer; probably will keep going in from time to time but not if it gets any worse and hope that the management takes steps to improve what is a good, traditional Preston pub.
