We were in Devon. We wanted fish and chips. End of story. Ok, maybe. There’s more. We had just finished up a gin tour at the Plymouth Gin and were hungry. We had seen this spot down the road and hopped in. It’s your basic chippy. Cheap food, fried up well, tasty, get a bunch of bang for your buck. The fish was nice and hot and crispy but the fries could have been fried a little longer. Ah well, still nice. Also they offer Heinz sauces for 25p a packet but there are other non-name brands of sauces on the table. Do with that info what you will. There’s a bunch of seating inside or they pack it up nice to go. It’s nothing that’s going to blow your mind but if you need that bits of fish and a little bit more of chips, you can stop right here. End of story.

Proper chips available here. Stubby half sausages in batter are available if you can’t quite manage a whole one. In a wordyummy.
