I’m never left dissatisfied when I go to Pizza Express. Well, not often. This is a fairly new branch at Cribbs Causeway, forming part of a three-way restaurant block with Nando’s and Las Iguanas. The food is the same at any branch, so if consistency is your thing, you won’t be disappointed. I got my favourite pancake-like American and a cold bottle of Peroni, and because it was Wednesday night, it was cheap. What’s different about this place is the size: it’s spacious and has different kinds of seating, such as booths, hideaways, window and outdoor.(If you fancy outdoor seating, you’re practically in the car park.) So, if you’re shopped out and fancy a bite to eat that’s far from The Mall’s bustling food court, you could do a lot worse than cross the road and have a pizza moment.
