Visiting the Swan Inn for the first time was an excellent experience. Went with friends for lunch and was greeted with a smile and made welcome by new landlord .
Shown a table in the snug area and menu and drinks arrived quickly.
The food was delicious and of good sized portions, I really enjoyed the steak and stilton pie with chunky chips. Friends were also very pleased with their fish pie and Linguine and meatballs. Good value prices and will visit again when in the area.

I have visited The Swan three times in the past month. Can’t say I didn’t try, but don’t think I’ll go back. Dull atmosphere, bland food, totally disinterested staff. Something definitely wrong at the top here.

The Swan Inn is a Public House Situated in Dobcross Oldham. The décor is really clean and slightly dated but except for that this place is fantastic, the food is all typical Bistro Style Food but the quality and prices are fantasic the Sunday Roast is a massive Favourite which is beef and all the trimmings for only £6 I can also suggest the yummy Toberlone Cheescake for £2.25 which is good as the portion sizes are massive.
