This store is great for craft items and stocks a fairly wide range of craft stuffs. I do however agree that you have to have a rough idea of how much stuff is elsewhere and that the café is horrible. It has a huge car park which is free and can be found on a very small retail park.

The Range Home & Leisure & Garden is a place I can’t make out really. They seem to sell a bit of everything they could have got cheap from somewhere, and thrown in all into one big warehouse they call a shop! You walk from sweets and confectionary to coffee, teabags and kitchen foil, to craft items for making cards etc into gardening, picture frames and homewares! It’s all a bit bizarre really! Prices aren’t as cheap as your Home Bargains or Wilkinsons either so I don’t really see the point in going there unless it’s handy for you. I can see this place closing down like Woolworths as I think it has a bit of an identity crisis!

Range has only been there for a couple of years. It sells pretty much everything that you can want and most of it is at a reasonable price(but you do have to be careful as some things can be expensive) It is great to look through and sometimes you find items you can’t find elsewhere. There craft stuff and sewing stuff is cheap. Their café is terrible though. Tried to go to it once. The choice of food is awful. We queued up to have a coffee, but the service was so slow and we waited for so long that we gave up and left. The service at the main tills can be slow as well.
