How this place stays so popular is beyond me. Not very attractive chain pub, tired and underwhelming. younger evening crowd .Not bad enough not to go but dont expect much

The slug and Lettuce has replaced what was the Hogshead in Marlow. I recently went to the Slug and Lettuce expecting a reasonably priced lunch. However I found it all very over priced for what it was. I decided to be healthy and have the chicken salad, which I hoped that for £9 would be quite generous on the chicken, and was disappointed when it arrived with a few tiny strips of chicken. My friend had the thai green curry which looked nice, but including soft drinks it all came to £30, which I thought was too much for a pub chain.
