I really like this shop. There are just so many vintage shops in the Northern Quarter that it’s actually quite refreshing to come across a shop being forward thinking with its fashion. Inside, Thomas St. Post Office is clean, sparse and achingly cool. The quality of ratings here says everything you need to know really, you’ll be able to find awesome clothes here and get help from great staff. I would highly recommend this shop.

If I was a boy, I would buy all my clothes from Thomas St. Post Office. Located in — you guessed it — an old post office in the Northern Quarter, it’s a brilliant men’s boutique that stocks a small but perfect range of threads, shoes and accessories. Everything is sourced in house by the owners and as a result, they have jeans, sweats and hoodies by New York label aNYthing, coats by Double Goose, sexy suede boots by Pointer and extremely limited tee-shirts, sweaters and prints by graphic artist and illustrator Obey. A must visit for graffiti and street art fans, the outside of the boutique features a massive murial of Obey work too and there’s a dozen, rare prints framed inside. The staff are friendly and helpful and if you sign up to their website, you’ll get emails and Twitters alerting you when they have new stock in.

Thomas St. Post Office is a fine specimen of a shop. A men’s boutique, it’s housed in a fabulous old structure in the Northern Quarter, and the interior looks much like an art gallery; bear brick and white washed walls serving as a backdrop to rails and shelves showcasing the ‘art’. The ‘art’ comes in the form of a well-chosen collection of urban jeans, t-shirts, trainers and accessories from labels such as Carhartt, Edwin, Sessun and Obey. It all makes for a refreshing shopping experience, a less claustrophobic and laid back approach to shopping. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with sizing and suggestions.
