Specialties

Freshly prepared meals & homebaked cakes served with quality coffee and specialty teas.

Teacup is proudly established as Manchester’s ‘Best Casual Dining Venue’ at the 2012 Food & Drink Awards. Download our app for recipes, loyalty rewards and invitations to events: www.casualmanna.com

We offer delicious breakfasts, lunches & evening meals alongside a menagerie of cakes and sweet treats, all crafted from organic and fairtrade produce where possible.

Tea is the top of the agenda for us, and we have a wide range of looseleaf varieties on offer. We also serve Atkinson’s handroasted coffee expertly pulled by our wonderful baristas. We have a fully stocked bar and serve a wonderful selection of wines, bottled beers and freshly mixed cocktails.

Our restaurant is child friendly and there is plenty of space for buggies as well as changing facilities in the bathrooms. We are wheelchair accessible and have accessible bathrooms.

History

Established in 2005.

Teacup on Thomas Street started off as ‘Cup Against the Wall’; a café and record shop begun by DJ Mr. Scruff and his manager Gary McClarnan. Over the years the record shop moved online, and ‘Cup Against The Wall’ grew into Teacup on Thomas Street, keeping Mr. Scruff’s passion for a proper brew at the forefront with a specialised tea menu to compliment a new food menu and bakery.
