Pret is always our first choice for a good quick drink. Despite being often very busy the service is extremely fast and the staff are always very pleasant and friendly.

As I was looking for a coffee in the Trafford Centre, and wanted to get some peace from all the crowds, I decided to come in here as the queue was okay. This store is located inside Selfridges on the 1st floor of the Trafford Centre, it is a small, cramped space in the store especially when busy hence I had to sit within centi meters away from another person, and I was upset I felt obliged to talk to her, as she felt that way. I couldnt’ get the peaceful rest I wanted as it was just a busy, crammed space, so close away to the Trafford Center, with no door so you don’t get a minutes peace. I ordered an Orange Spice Lattee, the barista brought it to my table, I’m surprised she found me and got through the crowds it was so busy. Honestly, If you want a peaceful coffee you would be better off going to Starbucks, even though it appears busier, they is more room and it is quiter than somewhere right in the heart of The Trafford Centre, in Selfridges. My Coffee was quite poor, it was very warm but still busy or not, the queues were not big in particular, so she had the time to make a nice drink and honestly I am not a fan of Costa, and I would of preferred a drink from their — At least it would of been more peaceful. My drink wasn’t that great to be honest, I could barely taste the orange flavour and I had high expectations with positive comments for this franchise. I like Coffee but I don’t like Pret A Manger, especially this branch because it is so crammed, crowded and loud being such a small area in Selfridges and really isn’t the place to go, for a nice peaceful coffee, away from the loud and busy Trafford Centre, so I feel this place deserves a single star. As the value was satisfactory, I could of give 2 stars but with this being located in the centre of the Trafford Centre, in Selfridges and being so loud, crammed and certainly not the place to go to relax in the middle of shopping, I feel even 1 star is a little steep for this branch.

I reviewed Pret in principle here: This Pret is good because it had pretty much the full range of sandwiches despite being tiny, it is in a good spot for a coffee, you can watch all the various mutants shopping in Selfridges scuttle by and then make a quick exit via Muji to the car park. I am marking it down a star because there is no where to put your silver tray when you are done :’(

Nestled amongst the bundle of eateries in the Selfridges food hall, Pret a Manger is keeping pretty real. And by that I mean they don’t charge ridiculous prices just because of all the other boutique stuff going on around them. I grabbed a quick chunky falafel and hummus sandwich. It was pretty dry but actually quite tasty, and it was only for a quick snack anyway. I like Pret. The sandwiches are nicely made, there’s excellent variety, and this branch keeps to high street prices despite its exclusive location.
