The boys tend to love Aspecto as a man alternative to Schuh and Office, especially the footwear conscious man-boys, who don’t really like going into places like Schuh and Office without their girlfriends in tow, lest their manliness be called into question. BUT, Aspecto, with it’s trendy manly music, well, hip hop type beats, it’s a safe sanctuary for the trendy, two birds one stone. There are some excellent footwear brands in here, the elusive and rather exclusive Y-3 Adidas line, in addition to Uggs, Adidas, Timberlands, G-Star, Nike, and others, clothing is interesting too, G-Star, Adidas Originals, Carhartt, Belstaff, Penguin etc, good quality fashionable men’s wear. The best time to hit Aspecto is Sale season, which sounds like a redundant thing to say, but I actually scored some ladies Timberlands in the sale for £70, which had £60 off them, holy significant saving, my friend got £70 off a G Star jacket, there are some serious reductions on the jeans too, so it’s a nice store to have a mooch around in.

As I’ve already mentioned, I’m not a big fan of being a walking advert for a company so I’m not that into ‘big label’ clothes. I’m not calling it a designer clothes shop because designer implies something entirely different to me(Dior, Gucci, Armani etc) than big labels which this store specialises in(Bench, G Star, Evisu etc). However, it’s a much better shop than USC, the range is better and a little more unique in here but there is not much difference in prices. Both are incredibly expensive! If you’re into big labels, you will love this place and I’d recommend it as it can be overlooked as it’s not as well known as other shops and it’s always well stocked. Good for Ugg boots if you’re thinking of buying someone some for Christmas…
