Some years ago if you’d mentioned the words ethical, eco and organic in the same sentence to a hardened department store shopper, you see them quickly running for the hills with images of treehuggers in cheesecloth sh*tcatchers. The tides are slowly turning though, and our stubborn consumerist attitudes towards organic and ethical products are changing for the better. Shops like Dojo will surely be making more and more headway over the next few years, offering alternatives to everything from matresses to clothes. I love that they carry my personal lifesaver Dr Brommers soap. Shame that Dojo still isn’t pulling out its finger in the style stakes though, it still shouts hippy.
