Smiths of Loughton started life as a hardware store, based in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire. Smiths of Loughton now trade exclusively from their Loughton store, which has been in the town for over 25 years, and from their online store www​.smith​sofloughton​.com. In 1999 the store went through a massive transition from hardware retailer to cookshop.
