Lovely location for a break from the busy city. The food was nice, but the place was crowded and noisy.

Gorgeous greenhouse and garden restaurant. Delicious coffee, juices and food(I’ve only been for breakfast) and wonderful pastries. It can get quite warm in the greenhouse so dress in layers and seating is garden and lawn type furniture(iron and wood) so not the most comfy but the atmosphere, people And food make up for this.

This café is located in the middle of the nurseries which gives you very calm and peaceful ambience as you walk into the nursery. It is very easy to locate as you walk out Warwick Avenue station, you will reach there within 3 minutes walk. Staff were friendly and food was delicious with a decent price. I definitely recommend brunch here. They have selection of mouth watering desserts as well of which I plan to return one day. They have free wifi which was ideal for student like me who likes to go out spend a day in a café studying :) I will definitely go back!

The Quince Tree Café is set in Maida Vale’s Clifton Nurseries, which is said to be the oldest garden centre in London. I don’t know when The Quince Tree Café took up residence here, but the sport was the former home of a Daylesford outlet. The nursery surrounding of the café lend to a tranquil environment. It is easy to forget that you are in the heart of Maida Vale. When the sun is out, it would be harder to find a nicer sport in West London to enjoy a brunch. They also serve breakfast, lunch and offer an afternoon tea option. I tend to just come here to enjoy a slow Latte and take in atmosphere. It is also a popular meeting point for mothers in the area. There are plenty of high chairs and they also offer a children’s menu. If you’re looking for a fast service, this is not the place for you. The slow service though added to this places charm for me, as it felt as though I was enjoying a short spell in the countryside, where time is less important. The Quince Tree café also cater for private parties and wedding receptions. If you’re in the area, it is well worth a visit.

It would be hard to beat the setting for brunch. The café is tucked in the back of a plant nursery, with most of the seating outside under a glass roof. There are lovely plants everywhere; it feels like a secret garden. It rained very hard while we had brunch but we were undisturbed. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was ridiculously good, just what you want. My GF had eggs royals and was very happy with it. The mochas were also excellent. The only complaint, and it put the review down from 5 stars, is that the coffees came after out food and took a while. Also, the bill was very late in coming which is a pet peeve of mine. However it did give me time to write this review!

Overall, The Quince Tree is definitely one of the better cafes in the area, not least because of the great Allpress coffee they use to pull their shots. The Quince Tree at Clifton Nurseries is a great café located inside a green house in the middle of a garden centre. With a glass roof, The Quince Tree is light even on a cloudy day, and I was lucky enough to catch a few sunbeams during my visit on a cold day. I went there for brunch and started my day with their delicious scrambled eggs on toast with an off-menu addition of bacon. For their coffee, The Quince Tree uses excellent Allpress beans — that alone should be a good reason to go there. After looking at their sweet offerings, I could not leave without a dessert, so I tried their Trio, an overly rich chocolatey pleasure. This all sounds fine, but as you might expect in this neighbourhood, it comes at a certain price. In summary, The Quince Tree is a great upmarket coffee shop that is undoubtedly worth a visit — who does not like a little bit of light and sun on a cold day? Will have to see, how this place will turn out on a hot and sunny day in summer.
