The Oxbridge Research Group

I wrote a book and was asked to send it to a poof reader before publishing– I looked online for this service and found that prices totally vary. Being myself I always believe that expensive things are always worth it (I am realising now this is not always true) so I approached the Oxbridge research group. I will write my experience in points
1– I had two weeks time and the editing/​proof reading department said they can deliver within this time frame and they did.
2– price was based on number of words and limited time I have therefore it was over a grand!
3– I trusted that the editing will be done by a lecturer in one of the Oxbridge universities.
4– work was delivered on time with no panic whatsoever on my part
5– I reviewed the work and noticed some phrases, sentences that did not make sense both grammatically and within the flow of the text. Corrected some as I did nt have time to contact the editor to ask about some basic grammatically wrong words — I actually doubted myself
6– after publishing I was embarrassed by asking about the numerous mistakes presented in the book! Which suggested «that no editing was done on the work»! Of course I had to proof I did sent the work to someone to edit it and cost me arm and leg!
To wrap up my experience I am very disappointed — think many of the claims on the website is untrue based on my experience
