History
Established in 1970.
The restaurant has been owned and managed by Peter since 1970. It has become known for its exceptionally good traditional greek food served in a friendly but sometimes quirky atmosphere. Regular customer make up the largest percentage of customers (including locally based hollywood stars, members of the english nobility and a large contingent of Greek Cypriots looking for home comforts). It is unusual to find such a old successful family run restaurant in the area and even rarer to find such a light hearted and congenial host as the Peter the owner.

Peter emigrated from Cyprus in 1964 and worked in restaurants and hotels in London before opening the four lanterns in 1970.
