We had an excellent lunch last Sunday. Vitello Alla Milanese was excellent. It was thick and cooked to perfection, and was topped with grated lemon zest and Gran Padano (or something similar). We could tell we had a wonderful chef in the kitchen. Their desserts were by far the best of all the Italian chains we had tried. Panna Cotta was as excellent as ever and so was Tiramisu. The service was fantastic. Michael, in particular, was fun, attentive, friendly, informative, chatty and just excellent.
Two weeks prior to that, we had slightly less exciting cooking. Calamari was tasty but was very greasy, Saltimbocca and Branzino were fine but lacked finesse. Perhaps, they had a new chef trying out. Still the service was as excellent as ever.
If you are in Camden, do visit.

Aucun reproche à faire, sauf, peut-​être, au sujet des luminaires“Nuage” qui mériteraient d’être mis en valeur !
Mais, c’est vraiment pour trouver quelque chose de négatif .

Friends outing on Sunday. Large table full of food. Salmon on lentils was my main course. Soft and flaky fish on a bed of savoury lentils. The ice cream and tiramasu was also good.

Loved it! Burratta appetizer was to die first. So delicious. We had the Orcchiette and the ravioli, both were very good. Decent portions. The only weird thing was that the server didn’t want to let us order our appetizer before our dinner, but maybe that’s something us Americans aren’t used to. Regardless the place is very pretty, we got a window seat which was very nice.

My food was lovely! We had a nice big sharing bread platter which was lovely and then I had grilled chicken which was cooked perfectly. The service was really quick but not compromised. They were very polite and friendly. Would definitely come here again,

The concept is good, as is the service. The food merely ok — I wouldn’t come here on a special night out but grabbing something to eat with the kids is ok.

Free bottled water at a cool restaurant in Camden? What’s not to like about that?!
They also take American Express (in London) which is a big deal for business travelers. They are very friendly and accommodating.
I went here several times since my first visit. It is a big place, well done with nice tables and décor.
It’s definitely worth visiting if you want some good Italian and a lot of space to eat in crowded London.

We weren’t sure whether to eat here, as I tend to avoid places on Unilocal that only get three stars, but the family was starving & it was right there, so in we went. Fortunately for us, the service & food were both extremely good.
We hadn’t realized before that this was a chain, and would probably have avoided it had we known so, but it was still a great experience for a quick Saturday afternoon meal.

Never going back, you shouldn’t either.
Extremely unreasonable service, large portion with crap food, and unjustifiable prices.
Let me indulge: we enter, and request a table outside. The waitress says the covers are just about to clear, and we’d moved outside immediately. I order two glasses of wine. She disappears, never to be seen again. Two covers change outside, we are still waiting sipping on water. Finally, after asking again, we are moved outside. Now we have a new waiter, a semi-​intelligent van Gogh lookalike. We wait another twenty minutes for him to take our order — which upon arrival is incorrect. After a hasty rectification, we are now eating semi-​cooked pasta and risotto. I have gone through the chain of emotions, anger-​disillusionment-​blame-​acceptance to just get over with it. Since we’ve bought a 3 course meal we have to wait for dessert, I also order an espresso. We wait another half hour for the espresso and desserts — at one point, semi-​intelligent van gogh actually sits outside next to us and smokes a cigarette. We are still waiting for the coffee.
Let this place be, it will wither and go away on it’s own.

Fantastic location in the centre of Camden. The food is tasty and plenty of choices, the wine is fab also. Reasonable priced and helpful staff.
