Today I decided to head to Starbucks, as the other coffee houses (which are slightly closer to my house) are not yet open (Costa is, but their coffee maker is not yet on. What’s the point Costa? WHATS.THE.POINT?).
Am a regular and have the Sbux Card (proud gold member since 2012!), so I’m happy to get my free drink.
Seems to be the season of new hires — any Sbux coffee house trains new people at the moment — so it can take a few minutes longer (which shouldn’t be a problem as you have to wait for your beverage to be made anyhow).
Didn’t expect it to be that busy at this time of day (night? It’s 6am after all); but the place is fairly quiet and not a stressful environment.

Good kind of hidden Starbucks above other shops on the ground floor and never too busy, although it is based right on the train station.
Great to unwind and relax on your way to a business meeting or before a trip.

Small branch of Starbucks inside Paddington Station above some of the other shops, up the escalator. All the lovely coffees and snacks that are offered by larger branches and friendly service with a smile. Great to have soya milk too for the lattes. Seating inside, small tables and wooden chairs.
