Excellent attraction for kids but not for adults. I would score it 5 stars for kids — 1 star for adults. Kids will love it. Apart from the obvious Shrek character, they are going to meet Donkey, Fiona, Gingerman, Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio and so many other characters. A show that lasts roughly 1.5 hour, having kids & adults experiencing 10 different setting till the final meeting with Shrek. Adults will possibly get bored. Even the recently added evening shows under title«Shrek Adventure! Lates» that are meant to be for adults only, are a bit boring. Having been both in the morning and evening –only adults– shows, the only difference is that you are offered two drinks — the show remains exactly the same. Such a pity that they didn’t somehow twist the stories to make them more adult friendly… You are not allowed to take any photos during the show, but at the end there have several interesting/funny settings to have lots of photos with your camera. Be aware; no available cloakroom. I would it suggest for a family but as being quite expensive, I would recommend finding out 2 for 1 vouchers.

Shrektastic time at Shreks Adventure London. Highly recommend to anyone that loves Shrek and all other magical characters from Cinderella to Pinocchio. I went along onto a special adult night adventure. I wont say too much otherwise it will give it away but there is a lot of audience interaction. There is also a particular actresses that plays Cinderella but with a twist. I found her highly amusing with her eccentric acting and odd presence. Its particularly funny when she picks out someone to go into Shreks toilet to retrieve some gold I wont say what happens but my husband was picked out and my god I thought is that him or is that just sound track as it really sounded like him, wink. I also really loved the pub area with the bar woMAN, wink. I think the acting and the way that everything was done was as good as something that you might experience in Orlando themeparks. You can also have your photo taken with Shrek and various other characters at the end of the tour. The shop has such great merchandise my head was spinning saying donkey, Shrek, gingerbread man… oh my what is one to do. The only thing that lets this attraction down is the price I do think that it is quite overpriced so try and find a deal as the experience of this place is one not to be missed especially if you have kids.

Great night at Shrek’s Adventure, was lucky to win tickets via Time Out who hosted the event or it would have been £27 per adult which in my opinion is a little too much for this attraction, but hey it’s London and you have to go to these places that are on your doorstep that you commute to and from every weekday! The scenes were brilliantly played out by many actors that take you on your journey to find Shrek! with singing, audience participation, great sound effects and at one stage a hall of Mirrors that we got lost in! a truly great day out for the family and each show lasts approx 75mins and at the end you get to meet characters dressed up like Shrek and Character from Madagascar! you must visit this if you come to London and also the London Dungeon is right next door and also the London Eye so you can do a lot things near each other and even get group ticketed discounts to enter a number of the attractions to save money… Go on be an Ogre and visit Shrek!!!

I got free tickets thanks to Sun perks and headed to check out what the fuss was about just before Christmas. I do like the Merlin attractions but they can be a bit overpriced and I was shocked to see that the full price for this was £26 per adult. It definitely wasn’t worth that money but it was still good fun. It’s basically an interactive show where you are led from room to room on a quest and some of the audience members get picked on to participate(both young and old!) The acting wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t horrific(Cinderella’s wig on the otherhand…) and I think it would be good fun for kids who love Dreamworks. There is a short 3D ride and a chance to take some pictures with some of the most loved characters too and you get handed a book with souvenier pictures in at the end. It wasn’t very clear if these were included in the price of the ticket or not as there didn’t seem to be anyone stopping people getting in the lift with them — unsurprisingly they are NOT included! So a little tip there for you. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I had more fun than I thought I would but definitely overpriced like a lot of the other Merlin attractions.

I went along to this not knowing what to expect, and feeling more than a little cynical. In the end I was very pleased to have gone, having had a great time. It certainly helped that we had a smaller group of about 20 people or so. So let me explain what this attraction actually is — it is firstly a virtual reality rollercoaster-ish ride for a few minutes(where I might add that other Dreamworks Animation characters make a cameo) and then a series of room with some interaction for the kids as you play out the storyline. Although I’ll warn you now, Cinderella did try to chat me up and then shove me into a toilet. That will only make any sense once you’ve been. Although I presume she chose me due to my resemblance to a certain green ogre. The actors and actresses were a mixed bunch, but my favourite had to be the guy in the torture chamber. Oh and watch out for rats. You’ll see.
