This hotel is pretty bad. Two stars is generous. That’s one star for good wifi and one star for a great location. My husband and I stayed on the 14th floor in a standard room. There were the predictable twin beds shoved together with top sheet as bottom sheet(which always came loose). One mattress was infinitely more decrepit then the other, and the other was by no means good. I actually got my hand snagged on the emerging spring. Also, the feathers in the pillows were poking out and scratching my face. I was probably allergic to them. One day we asked for an early morning wake up call, and we never got it. Ho hum.

great view of london. servers weren’t interested in serving. drinks were wanting. low-end spirits only, i could only imagine the quality of the wine list. guess it just depends on what’s important to you… i could go to a dive, even if they yell at me, as along as they have good drinks. 3 stars for the view only.

This is the place to come if you like to admire sweeping views of the city whilst sipping a drink. I had no idea it existed before I was ushered there, like, it would appear, a sizeable portion of London’s population, since it was practically empty the entire time we were there. It’s not a 5 star experience due to its slightly high prices and the rather bland(hinting towards the 70s, but not in the kind of admiringly stylish, retro way you can find elsewhere in London) interior. But as a place to escape the hubbub of nearby Oxford Street, take in superb views of London and enjoy some food and/or drink, it really is unbeatable.

As my usual hotel was fully booked i thought i search my luck in the st. georg. I actually ended up happy about it as most of the things that i needed to go to very really close. But as this hardly depends on what you plan and is not really related to the quality of the hotel let’s explain why i picked only 3 stars. When i entered the hotel the guy at the reception seemed in a way overmotivated or stressed, even he didn’t have anything to do. He gave very fast sloppy answers i hardly understood. I didn’t feel he really served me. Entering the room i was astonished by the great view as I was in the 10th floor. I took out my laptop and tried to connect but there wasn’t any wifi«Power». I could connect to the wifi but it was just to weak so i could use it. Overall the hotel was ok, very good location in town, but you could expect just the basics being better. Haven’t had any food and stayed only very short so maybe other people will have different experiences overall.
