It’s a takeaway so I can’t really justify giving it 4 or 5 stars… BUT the kebabs are glorious.

Forget the fact that it was kinda busy, I mean we managed to get tables and while we were eating there was no one ordering or even standing in this place. We waited ages for two measly sized shwarmas and the fries didn’t come till later. They took until my food came to clear the table but not clean it. The guy doing that was, I’m sorry absolute shit. I don’t know if he thinks hygiene is optional in a restaurant or in life, but it isn’t in either. Overpriced too. I could have, should have eaten something healthier and cheaper nearby. Well, fool my once, shame on you. Fool me twice,…

This place has the best shawarma sandwiches on all of Edgware Road. You can tell how good a shawrma is going to be by looking at the rotisserie and counting the drops of juice that come off the meat. Anything less than one per second is going to be dry. This place is like rain. You can’ t even count!

So I went there late at night me and my friend and we both ordered chicken and lamb Shawarama. They both tasted good, but after our meal at night, me and my friend felt that we eat a tub of salt because we got very thirsty that we couldn’t sleep at night. That night after Ranoush I drank two large bottles of water and I still felt very thirsty, then the heartburn started to kick in. So my overall experience was good food but bad aftermath, so I am not sure if I will go there again.

I’ve been coming here for years and years for a mixed fruit juice and a chicken shwarma or lamb shwarma… I’ve only ever used it as a take away. There is a small section of seating, which is even nicer in the summer when the sun occasionally joins us in London! Really, really good food! Nice staff. If you’re in the area and looking for something to have on the move, this is your place!

This is definitely a take away place. Shawarma both lamb and chicken were great. Ask him to put fries-chips in your lamb shawerma. The juices didn’t look encouraging however the Nignags like spinach, cheese, kebeh… Are good too. The best thing about this is its open late!!!

I stopped by Ranoush Juice on account of walking through Hyde Park and dying for something fresh and sweet! I ordered: Mango Juice: I’m pretty sure they just ran champagne mangoes straight through a juicer, which explained the strangely viscous texture. I got used to it though, but I did not get used to the hyper-fluorescent color. Who knew that juiced mangoes look like blended Kraft Mac and Cheese? It was that weird yellow-orange color. Shwarma Lamb: I ordered this as a wrap. The lamb was very tender, and incredibly fatty. I didn’t really like the white sauce that they put in the wrap, so I ended up eating the lamb separately from the rest of the pita. Service was just fine.

That lamb shawarma. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with lovely bits of fat. And the baba ghanouj. Smokey, creamy, covered in olive oil. Nothing more needs saying really.

The juice is great. I went there for the shawarma as I heard good things about it. I guess my expectations were too high. We got no choice in the vegetables/salad we wanted or the sauce. They could have at least asked. Had to go ask myself later on for chilli sauce. The chips were awful, waste of money too. It would be handy if they could have some sauce options available on the table. It isn’t a quick pitstop for everyone, some do prefer to just sit down and enjoy their food, those people should least be treated well. Had this woman standing their right behind me while I was eating. Just awkward. Oh well, I would advise people coming here for the juice/smoothies. I may give this place another chance. Maybe they were just having a bad day. Others seemed to have enjoyed the food here.

The food here is all the standard Turkish type stuff… kebabs and similar. The food is nice but the service here(in common with many similar places on Edgware Road) is incredibly rude. I dont know if they are more polite to Turkish people or if they are rude to everyone but it is not nice. It is not that they say anything impolite it is that they do not say anything… I have been there a couple of times and both times the staff barely said a word to me except grunting a bit when I made my order, the second and last time they didn’t even look at my face when I was talking to them which made me feel very unwelcome.

The first night I went(suggested by a Lebanese&Turkish friend) to the Knightsbridge Ranoush Juice, across from Harrod’s/Harvey Nichols, we ordered lamb shawarma with hummous, fried potatoes with chili, salad, fluffy pita bread, and fried cheese pastries, topped off with baklava and a fruit platter. Um, words cannot describe the steaming sensation of the juicy food sliding down your throat, of a million flavours bursting in your mouth simultaneously, careening against your tongue, and heating up your entire body in deliciousness. Got free baklava and fruit. Lamb Shawarma, one of the BEST I’ve ever had, super tender, lots of hummus. The naan was likewise amazing. Ordered a lot more other appetizers; it had such a huge array of vegetarian options for my friend, too! Loved it so much, two days later, we went back to the one on Edgware Road, which was open late night after lots of shisha, was quick, and had the besttt wraps ever. Also, ridiculously cheap for amazing shawarma kebab meal.

Ranoush Rocks — if you want to grab a quick bite to eat & sip a freshly squeezed juice this is the place. Lamb wrap or grilled halloumi & salad with a fresh carrot & orange juice really hit the spot. +Cheap, quick, spotlessly clean, open VERY late. –Tiny and very popular, so hard to get a seat. If you do, they are the high chair kind… and staff are not smiley friendly, but no big deal as its a quick pit-stop place.

After a late night out there is nowhere better to go in London than the Ranoush to soften the impact of too much booze etc. I always feel much healthier after drinking two glasses of thier fresh watermelon juice and munching on a crisp falafel sandwich. This place has saved me and served me well on many occasions.

On my 2am hunt for the best kebab in Shoreditch this is where I ended up… Edgware Road. Me and hundreds others. This place is grade A, cross-the-town, guaranteed fantastic shawarma kebab excellent. The small shawarmas run in at just over 3 quid and made in massive production line style by Lebanese experts who are part of the Maroush empire that seems to own more of Edgware Road than the Duke of Westminster and Lord Sainsbury combined. Your patience will be tested with 30 people lines at 3am but the resultant satisfaction in your tummy and on your tongue will see you through to 4am and on. I don’t know why Sinan didn’t like the service at this restaurant because it’s not a restaurant and there’s not much service. It’s a take-out juice bar and kebab shop, part of the ridonkulous Maroush empire, and it’s pretty bloody good and crucially… it’s open late late late. On Saturday night at 3am, you’ve just had the best kebab in Shoreditch, The City, Westminster, Soho, Holborn and wherever. Glad you drove.

I Have a lot of apathy for this resaurant, the food is fantastic, which is what you would expect from Lebonese cuisine, however, the service is not far from horrific. I have had my fair share of expereices here, for three years I went to college just minutes away in Paddigton, and you would have thought that I would have encountered at least one nice waiter, but you would be wrong. If you can see beyond the service and you want a great meal or have a nice fruit juice(I would suggest the melon), then you won’t have any problems. It is really reasonable in price but I still cant get over at how ignorant the waiters are. The best bet is, have a takeaway. They have nice Shirwama’s, both Lamb and Chicken and they are about £3 each for a small.

Ranoush Juice is a great place for cheap filling food on edgware Rd, however i think i would rather take the food home, than eat in the resteranut as the site isnt very pleasing, and the tables are greasy. Apart from that its a great place for shawarmas full of chicken at a bargain price of £3.25!

9. RANOUSHJUICEBAR The Ranoush Juice Bar is a part of the Maroush group, and they are kings of the shwarma kebab. Both chicken and the lamb shwarma are well seasoned and need little more than a dollop of houmous and a flatbread to set them off. About £7pp ex-drinks(no alcohol.

Cash only rather crowded ‘bar’ where you can get a late night snack. Food is good however queues are long and the shop is tiny so it gets rather uncomfortably crowded.

This is a muslim friendly kind of place, no alcohol and eveything halaal. Its a local hang out spot for the community and since no alcohol is served is great for the whole family. Just like any other bar or restaurant is open til late.
