Food was decent. I did find a hair in my rice. They were pretty good about it; they replaced my meal immediately. Only problem? They didn’t comp me at all. Not good business. Not even a discount off the food.

I went there for a romantic dinner worth my boyfriend. lovely and tasty food that represent perfectly the Indian flavour and culture. I had a lamb biriani and my boyfriend choose a chicken butter with rice. All good and tasty and at a reasonable price! I will come back again! you can book a table via phone so you don’t need to worry about any queue.

Members of my family have been going here for 35 years so it must be good. Best Indian food in the area. Parking is usually easy for this small family run eatery. The food is authentic and the service is top notch. If you’re in shepherds bush/hammersmith — go and visit. It’s family friendly and the portions are generous. They open about 6pm and deliver if you’re felling lazy.

A lovely little place with hot yummy Indian food. Had the Marsala Butter Chicken which melts in the mouth. Finished up the gravy with the rice. The service was efficient and friendly, food reasonably priced for its standard. The experience was marred by the table of 6 sitting across literally shouting to one another with their boisterious and sometimes offensive conversations.

It’s a really lovely Indian on the Goldhawk Road, and suprisingly nice inside(not to say that the Goldhawk road isn’t increasingly gentrified; just that I used to live in a pretty skanky flat opposite and it always seemed quite the juxtaposition). The choice isn’t large for an Indian, but this seems to mean that all the dishes are done really nicely. The chicken jalfrezi is beautiful and their mango-chutney is lush, too. Service is highly attentive and it’s all very reasonable, about £6−9 a main– a bit higher quality than your average. I really like it here and would reccommend.

Already a favorite amongst everyone in my family, i too am hopping aboard! carefully crafted menu with a generous range of main course offerings. the ambiance is very traditional, the wait staff is supremely attentive. and the owner is usually always at hand to help you create a dish to your liking should you be insane enough to dislike their selection. do not sit by the door as it can be drafty.

We arrived around 9.30pm on Friday night at the Rajput where it was fairly busy but they sat us straight away. The first thing that strikes you about this restaurant is that it is pretty tiny. It can probably hold a maximum of 30 diners at once. Obviously this translates into quite an intimate atmosphere and also a sense of cuteness. The service was good, the food was good, I think it was pretty reasonably priced but can’t really remember. I would certainly come again. The only possible downside is the labyrinthian journey to toilet. The higgledy piggledy trail, I believe, is a sort of time machine and will transport you to the toilet which is back in the 1970’s. Flush, wash your hands and when you leave you’ll be escorted back to the present day.
