Pure Waffle

pretty good waffles but pricey for their size. I was still hungry after I ate my plate of waffles but the taste made it a little bit better.

Okay, honestly? I had high expectations about this place. I mean waffles with yummy fillings, how can that possible go wrong? Well, let me tell you.
It goes extremely wrong if you receive half a Belgian waffle with some Nutella and a tiny bit of ice cream for £7. I don’t mind spending money on food, actually, it’s what I do, but you get better waffles from the food stand around the corner on Oxford street for £3. Way too pricey for what you actually get. I came here to have a waffle breakfast and I expected to roll out. When I fished my £7 waffle I was left hungry and confused.
Also the interior of this place makes my eyes want to crawl out. The interior reminds me of KFC and I mean, if you want people to come in and pay for your extremely pricey waffles, why not make it a little cosy?
When we entered Pure Waffle on a Thursday around noon we were the only guests they had. There were three waitresses not looking at us speaking their native language to each other while someone who would seem to be the manager walks over to us to take our order. I am allergic to passive staff so I had a look around to see if the place for dishes, spots and I do think they could have done some cleaning instead of talking.
But, I do admit that the waffle tasted nice.

Not being a huge waffle eater, I can’t comment on whether these are the best waffles in London but I can say I enjoyed the food, which was freshly prepared and courteously served by the waitresses. The proprietor seems like a very nice chap and is clearly proud of his waffles!
The paintwork in the seating area could do with a little TLC but other than that, a solid and filling choice for lunch.

The waffles are awesome! Super crispy and went really well with strawberries and whipped cream. If it wasn’t breakfast I’d have gone for the ice cream that was offered.
It’s just off the main street and the tables outside are perfect for enjoying the weather.
Four stars instead of five because the coffee was just OK. Not bad, but nothing special.

The best waffles in London for sure!!! They close at 7pm though so maybe they need to stay open later especially for the days that some of us work late and crave these tasty waffles. They are very simple, yet the flavour is delicious as they are not ‘eggy’ and they are very crispy and crunchy which is very important with waffles.
The guys that own the place are twin brothers, who are very nice, and their waffles have always been good. The family and I definitely have the days where we are craving a sugar rush and drive here for the fix!

The Nutella waffle is to die for! The staff very friendly and nice, I enjoyed sitting outside the weather was amazing and the coffee was just right.
The only problem is not from the place itself but from the different beggars that would not go away, three different beggars would not leave us alone, and another was forcing us to buy from him some flowers which we did not want. Other than that the place was amazing and I would come back again to try the pecan waffles next time!

even if you are not a big fan of waffle. you have to try it. try banana Nutella waffles also give a try to the butterscotch and pecan waffles

They master the art of waffles ! Light, crispy and tasty. It is the best waffle I ever had.

OMG these waffles are sooo tasty. Absolutely amazing, but my only gripe is the small portion size, and the limited seating at the venue.

Nice waffle as compared to a few waffle kiosk nearby. Comfy place and friendly service. A good place to rest before your next shopping session.

The most crispy waffles I have tried so far in London!!! Worthy to stop by for some snack or light brunch! Brunch? As they have the waffle dog too, hot dog on waffle!
Waffle: definitely hot, fresh and crispy. They don’t have the standard soft cushion like waffle center. But I like the crispy texture outside, and so light !
waffle dog: waffle can be a bit hard at first as the thin waffle edge make the cutting feeling different from usual one. But when you start eating the hotdog, waffle and sauces together, it is yummy and not heavy at all.
Pecan and butterscotch waffle: I love it as it is not on the traditionally over sweet side. Again, very crispy and fresh for the texture!
If a girl can finish both sweet and savoury waffle in one go, it must be very light for the waffles:)
But £5 one sweet waffle is the Price tag u pay for the location, I guess !

Pure waffle is a fun breakfast/​lunch spot in Marylebone, great for sitting with friends and eating waffles, but maybe not in that order.
You’d almost walk by this spot if you weren’t in the mood for a waffle. It’s worth it to stop. Inside if a pleasant atmosphere, a whole ton of comfortable chairs and tables and a counter with sweets and treats and friendly staff behind it.
So, which way do you waffle? You can go sweet, like I did, opting for ice cream and whipped cream (the guy warned me that the waffles were made without sugar but the two bits of sweets was enough for me in the end) or you can go savoury. They do waffles with specials of the day in them (like cheese and ham) or you can get the legendary waffle dog, a hot dog with waffles. What! Yes.
I had a very nice morning meeting here, and would stop by again no problem.

I LOVE waffles and when I heard that I am going to Pure Waffles for brekki I must say I got extremely excited and boy this place did not disappoint me at all!
I was happy about:
The waffles looked absolutely delicious and tasted even better.
I had a friendly banter with the staff about Manchester vs London
The presentation of the waffles was impressive
The central London location was extremely handy
The menu was mouth-​watering
I wasn’t happy about:
NOTHING!
Verdict: If you love waffles and are in Central London then this is a place you SHOULD try!

Sweet and savory waffles can be found here! Hurry up because they go fast. For the main feature that sent me over the moon, waffle dog. yup believe. It was amazing. Stop in for a coffee and a waffle of your choice.

Yes this place is A-​OK. Nothing special but a-​ok! I had the banoffee waffle!

It was close enough to lunch and raining, so we ducked into Pure Waffle. We ended up having some of the best hot dogs we’d ever eaten. In England of all places.
