Ponti’s Italian Kitchen

This is a quiet refuge from the bustling Bond St. shopping area. Their 2– or 3-​Course Menu (before 6PM) is a good deal. Food and drink were delicious, décor was very pleasing and no loud music either. Our server Summer was very efficient, polite, & friendly. It’s a great place after a long shopping day.

Service was good. Drink & food served very fast though the restaurant was packed. Lemonade drink was so so… Spaghetti Carbonara was good. However my friends ordered Pastanera had bad fishy smell. Finally end up returning. Restaurant manager was kind & waived ½ price.

Although the food is good and I was a regular here, yet one waiter was so rude and changed my opinion of this place. They’ve always told me that ‘chocolate Gelato’ has liquor in its ingredients, and this waiter has told me that chocolate gelato is the one that has no liquor, rum or alcohol in it. So was he trying to make me have that in purpose, Since in my religion I shouldn’t? Anyways, I don’t trust this place anymore.

Family owned business that took care of a party of six Americans and shocked us all by memorizing all of our order. Was quick and delicious. Prices were very reasonable and will go back next time in town.

Food is generally ok — I ordered the ravioli which was simply awful. In reviewing the menu, ask what dishes are made fresh and which are frozen or brought in. Always order fresh. Our waiter was a major disappointment since he had suggested the ravioli.
This was my worst meal in London, unfortunately.

Loved this small, intimate place. The food was delicious and tasted super fresh. The waiter was very attentive and was really movin’ to make sure all his table had their needs met. I noticed that the staff addressed everyone who came through the door with a friendly hello. We stayed at the Marriott down the street so we happen to just find this place, I’d highly suggest it. Kids loved the fresh juice drinks.

Excellent service and delicious food. Totally happy with our visit here. The mushroom risotto was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I’m sure you will walk away as happy as we did after our visit. Don’t miss it!

We were walking along Oxford and decided to turn onto Duke Street because we were hungry. Ponti’s Italian looked like a decent place to stop at. We barely missed the happy hour specials but decided to stay for dinner. We ordered a bottle of merlot, bruschetta, and stuffed mushrooms to start. The mushrooms were delightful. I’d never had stuffed portabellas before and this was nice. The bruschetta was topped with a sundried tomato spread and burrata. It was so good. The wine was perfect.
For entrees, we ordered the tagliatelle with mushrooms and the Italian burger made with Scottish beef. Weird, right? Yeah, I thought so as well. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the mushrooms were delicious. I had just a bite of the burger and it was tasty too. The service albeit a little slow, it was good. Our waters were refilled promptly and our food arrived hot. This is a great place to grab dinner that doesn’t seem to be a chain.

Excellent food and very accommodating! I had the aubergine bake and asked for extra goats cheese and I got so much! Fabulous food and the service was wonderful! Delicious non-​alcoholic cocktails too definitely recommend the apple and cucumber smash! Fabulous and recommend to anyone to go visit for food!

Great service. Delicious food. What else can we ask for while on vacation. Didn’t break the bank yet had nice ambiance.

I was there during a weekend with my cousin, who was in London for a few days, and it wasn’t crowded, so we could have a table straight away. We both had pizza and it was quite nice, fresh and thin crust. The place is cozy and the staff is very welcoming, so it is not a bad option when you are in the area and you fancy italian food.

Came here for dinner with friends and we tried different things on their menu. The assorted Italian artisan bread is a must before your main course comes. The vegetarian pizza is not bad at all and you can share it for two. My friend tried the burger and the patty is also very juicy and it was served with French fries on the side.

Lovely restaurant. I like taking the whole familia there for some quality pasta or a big pizza with lots of cheese. I like how the decorations are authentic-​looking and it’s obvious the owner made an effort to make the place seem like we’re really in Italy.

Best restaurant for Italian food in London. I love being here with friends and enjoying a fine hot pizza. They have the widest menu and everything on it is delicious. Also, the service is fast enough and I don’t have to wait too long for my food. Recommended.

I had chicken Milanese. Breadcrumbed chicken on mash. £11.80. OK but expensive. Amoretti cheesecake was great £4.95. My daughter had antipasti. Two hams 5 small tomatoes and a little bread. Not brilliany. She had some sort of chocolate dessert. Food OK. Would have liked some more. Prices too high. The waiter called me brother and my daughter love. He said sweet a lot meaning I think OK. We were also referred to as guys a lot. Perhaps the waiters should spend more time discussing the food with you than acting cool and trendy it might have been better. I like the restaurant but would prefer an italian or waiters who give a damn.

I was surprised, but when I was there, because I had one of the best pizzas ever! It looks like a random chain or something similar, but it actually is a very nice Italian restaurant and the food is not at all chainy. The styling and atmosphere etc. could perhaps be improved, the food not so much.
I am not a big friend of cherry tomatoes, but these marinated cherry tomatoes perhaps made the difference?! I don’t know, but I don’t need to know. What I know is, that the pizza was very tasty and I am sure that I will come back! :)

Free wifi and decent Italian-​ish food for reasonable prices in central London, super close to Selfridges to boot What more could a lady ask for?

A very over hyped restaurant in Londons wealthiest borouh. Really does not o with the luxurious surroundings of Aston Martins and Rolls Royces. The food is overpriced and is not by any standards very good. But as a quick stop for some elevensees before work it is a goldmine.

I hate this place. The first time I went here they took over an hour to give my food!!! :0
After that I have never been here– i’m obviously not happy with it.
