Although I go here a lot, it’s out of convenience more than anything else. It’s a small branch and the staff here don’t seem as cheery and friendly as you see in other branches. I’m not sure why that is, perhaps because they know they are far away from the main Canary Wharf estate, or perhaps they feel like outcasts because they didn’t get to work in the main branch. Whatever the reason, it just feels a bit odd walking into this one…

There seem to be hundreds of Prets at Canary Whart but I think it is just 5 or 6. They obviously have all the same stock of well made tasty sandwiches and lovely but overpriced biscuits and crisps and coffee. I do see a Pret sandwich as a treat over the normal Tesco special but sometimes the treat comes over as bland or unbalanced in flavour rather than a lovely middle ground. There is nothing really to distinguish one Pret from another around here except for the layout(some squeezed into the thinnest or oddest shaped units — one has it you have to pick your sandwich, leave the unit and re-enter along a bit to pay). Go to Pret if you like a nice sandwich Oh and they do good platters for meetings and deliver to your local office.
