Dingey, slow and not cheap. Go elsewhere. Haven’t tried their phone delivery so this is primarily about pick-up. The guy who took our order was surly and wearing a dirty tubular bandage on his wrist, thankfully he wasn’t making our pizza, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t making any that night. It took ages for us to order because the tills weren’t working and then there was nowhere to sit while we waited for them to be prepared. The pizza was standard chain takeaway and the price was what you’d expect(ie pricey) but no real complaints there. This is primarily a delivery place rather than a walk-in so I was forgiving some of its trespasses, but then I remembered its on the main drag up from the tube station so should expect and cater for the drop-in market. Also it’s part of a big chain so doesn’t get the benefit of my doubt. Overall I’d be surprised if the dominos next door doesn’t put it out of business, they need to step up their game.

I didn’t have the best experience with this pizza hut and as a result I have only ordered pizza from there once. When I called to place my order I waited a long time for someone to pick up the phone, when they did they put me on hold automatically. I find this really frustrating and would rather be left ringing than be paying to be on hold. After taking me off of hold the person on the other end of the phone mumbled something that sounded like can I take your order but I can’t be sure because their phone manner was awful. You couldn’t hear a word they were saying. They did get clearer during the conversation which was a relief because asking them to repeat everything was getting annoying. I ordered my food and an hour and a half later I had it. If I had known how long delivery would take I would have picked it up as it would have been quicker. The pizza itself was pretty good and it was warm but it was not worth waiting for that amount of time.
