I think the phrase ‘not bad’ captures this restaurant very well. It’s not excellent, but not terrible. I tried the American Hottest pizza, which was pretty good, albeit light on toppings and cheese. 13£ seemed a little pricey, though, given that I can eat an entire one myself. To be honest, I’ve had better pizza from the freezer.

We ordered a pizza and dough balls for pick-​up. It is exactly what you think it’s going to be. Not awesome, not frozen, just regular chain pizza. Maybe if we went to the actual restaurant it would be better because we will have eaten it right when the pizza came out of the oven, but it was just ok. Not sure we will be going back, but in a pinch I can see trying to pop in to sit down and give it a second chance.

Came for a late lunch with two coworkers. We were seated promptly with fast service. I ordered one of the light pizzas that has a salad in the middle for a healthier approach! Pizza was thin (as described) and the crust could’ve been a little bit more crispy. Clearly this place is focused on quick pizza service but with a rather nice sitdown approach. Not bad for lunch once or twice per year.

Eh. This place was all right. We were staying at a hotel in The City so there was nothing else around open on a Saturday night.
We ordered a pizza topped with prosciutto and mushrooms, and a chicken salad entrée. The center of the pizza may have been slightly undercooked, as it was a little runny. The salad was a little heavy on the dressing, but still pretty good.
It’s funny how in the US pizza is like fast food, but this place makes it seem fancy with the tablecloths and the wine glasses.

Pizza Express was open and serving pre-​show dinner to all of us Tower Festival goers who didn’t think to order a Festival picnic but who needed to eat
Pizza was tasteless, crust was soggy, very little cheese, and the mushrooms were fresh but raw so they just became hard & rubbery in the oven
So while I’d recommend arranging to eat elsewhere before your show, Pizza Express gets 2 Stars for being among the only restaurants open in the Tower Of London area after 5pm
