I loved everything about Persia. Except the strange walnut and cheese salad which came with a unchopped herbarium full of mint, Thai basil and coriander leaves with no dressing at all. Wierd. And the Lamb dish which was actually mutton, although it was well tasty.

I absolutely loved their appetizers. All of the salads were delicious and full of flavor. Entrees weren’t as delicious to me as I have had much better bademjan elsewhere. Rose falooda was delicious here too. :) Also they had great service.

I’ve found this place by accident but I’m most happy I did. The food is completed from traditional Persian dishes and everything is very delicious. I am surely going back with even more friends and family. I want them all to share the pleasure.

Wow! What a find! Chatting with my cousins about herbs and spices, our conversation segued to Fesenjan, the dish fit for kings, that I last had in a Westwood, LA restaurant. Hardly the place to hop over to when you are in the center of London… So looked online and found a bunch of super expensive Persian restaurants, which when called did not do Fesenjan, but kebabs… How boring… But then there was Persia… «Of course we do Fesenjan!», the person who answered the phone told me. So off we went on an adventure to Cricklewood Broadway, in search of flavors and scents that hopefully would melt this weary traveler’s heart. Persia did not disappoint! From the extraordinary hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, to the main dishes with their sweet or savory pilaf accompanying roasted lamb, chicken but best of all, Fesenjan, I can’t praise the chef enough. And if you’ve ever read my reviews, you know I’m not one to give generous praise. Chicken livers with cardamom, spinach in yoghurt with garlic and finally, my Fesenjan, a beautiful thick sauce made from ground walnuts, pomegranate purée and a secret blend of spices enveloping a perfectly cooked chicken breast… Ah! Heaven! And a reasonable bill at the end. Wow again! Run, don’t walk to this amazing yet unpretentious hole in the wall in Cricklewood.

Traditional Persian food. Restaurant is nice and cosy, and food was good and reasonably priced. The décor is really nice and they play music sometimes. If I had to make a small criticism the waitress could have been friendlier.
