A good beautician is like having a good dentist. Noone looks forward to it, but if they’re good it makes it much easier. Ive been going for a while now.
Just LOVE Olga!
She’s so quick and professional, it makes you feel comfortable, considering how vunerable you feel! She makes a pretty weird and uncomfortable moment much easier to bear. She’s very friendly.
The prices are very reasonable, especially in London. Bring cash/​cheque cos no cards.
I also love the smiley barber who owns the barbers above. I think he might be the happiest man ever?

With the potential of beach time on the horizon, I was scoping out Islington’s waxing options with the focus of Terminator when I saw Olga’s name on a sign that Huckers salon had perched outside of The Bull on Upper Street. I pulled out my trusty notebook to jot her name down and I’m glad I did.
One week and £21 later, I was as smooth as… a Brazilian? Olga was very quick and as painless as I could have hoped. Much less painful than other waxes I’ve had. She was also extremely friendly and put me at ease instantly. I appreciate that when needing to take off my pants seconds after meeting you.
