I’ve been looking for a pair of Adidas(size 3) for several weeks and luckily found a pair in here! Everywhere I’ve been was sold out of smaller sized Adidas but the entire staff was eager to help me find a pair that fit well and look great! Lewis and Callum helped me out along with a female coworker(I unfortunately never got her name), and they were incredibly patient when I was debating which shoes to pick and would offer their suggestions and thoughts on each pair. I never knew I’d be able to have such a fun time looking for shoes! I highly recommend coming in to this store to find your new shoes!

Lace up, step forward and let your feet do the talking! If you want trainers with a side of funky, then this place is where you should go. Now, speaking as one with a footwear fetish, I’m not actually big on trainers as they generally don’t go with my outfits, but when I’m in Camden, I do love to peruse their Pumas, admire their Addidas and drool over their DCs. I have a couple of friends who used to work here, and it was always really busy when I used to pop in to say hi, but generally they seem to have a lot of staff on hand. So, if your jeans are looking a little boring, then add some va va voom to your outfit, whilst simultaneously keeping your tootsies comfy, with some shoes from Offspring!

Offspring is a great store selling a good range of trainers– Puma, Y3, Adidas, Nike. If you want Reebok Classics don’t come to Offspring go to somewhere less cool like Footlockers or JD Sports. The staff aren’t always that helpful so be clear about what you’re after. Yes the music is loud but this doesn’t bother me at all– should music be loud? If I was in a restaurant I might object if I couldnt hear myself speak but as a shoe shop doesn’t warrant much conversation I don’t care.

Well, Offspring isn’t a million miles off upmarket, well-presented trainer shops(Office, anyone?) which stand off centre to the fashionable and ‘in-the-know’ side of mainstream shoe shops. Foot Locker? really? I’ve never dabbled myself. So, Nike, Puma, Asics, all the big names –yawn, such a good thing yeah? So, lots of white displays, and attractive mixed-race shop assistants(and I’m not knocking that, always a good thing in my book) who look like they quite enjoy working here,(again, another good thing). I just remember my brother came in for a pair of them Asics Tigers, and they were £5 cheaper than the Office just over the road, so he came back and bought them here. Student discount see, handy eh? So… just shows. For me, buying trainers is a once year-and-a-halfly thing, and I take no great pleasure in the buying of them. But if it was on that day, I had the money and I was in Camden, then I probably would buy my trainers here.

I don’t understand why this shoe shop insists on having music playing so loud that untied shoelaces dance away from your fingers when you try do them up. Perhaps the owners think that by doing so, all mental obstacles to the path of purchase will be removed. This aside, Offspring offers the customer all the top brands of shoe such as Puma, Adidas, DC, Caterpillar and All-Star. A nice touch, and perhaps testament to the horribly loud music, is the 10% student discount that is available provided you show a valid student card. While browsing, I realised that many of the shoes in Offspring try a little too hard on the aesthetics scale as opposed to the horrid usability of Crocs(no, they didn’t have any). What I mean to say is some of the shoes arem’t suitable for running around and do crazy things in, but it does have shoes that will complete whatever outfit it is you’re planning for that hen\stag do, clubbing evening or the day you’re going to spend crying because you spent all your money on ridiculous-looking shoes.
