Nando’s

I took the girls in my team here for lunch on a Friday. It was pretty empty and spacey. The décor was nice enough. 4 of us ordered wraps and 1 ordered a burger.
I had a chicken wrap with spicy rice and Macho Peas… So, the chicken could have been anything, no real flavour, the peas had nothing macho about them at all, more like disheveled former versions of what they should had been and the rice was congealed/​over cooked around the edges and stuck into the pottery dish it was served in.
The member of staff that took our order then came to check if everything was okay was lovely and really chirpy.
It cost £65 for 5 people which at £13 per head for your lunch, it a bit excessive for the standard of food you get here when actually you could have gone to any of the take aways in the nearby area and got the same sort of thing for under £6. The only thing that stopped this getting a 2 star was the bloke that was working there and his customer service.
Very Meh.

Get your Peri Peri chicken here. Nandos is well known for their chicken dishes in a restaurant that is a cross between fast food and proper dining. The informality is refreshing if that is what you want. The food is basic but good. This particular Nandos is opposite a movie theatre, so very busy on movie nights. The décor is pleasant and modern. Worth a try!
