Service was a little slow for us, but we enjoyed a good tasting meal and some cocktails. The view of the Cathedral really cannot be beat.

Yes this place is expensive and yes it has an amazingly spectacular view of St. Paul’s, which is one of the most beautiful monuments in London. If you go during a sunset you will not be disappointed at all. The seating is really well thought out as well. They have heaters everywhere and you can sit out if you wish to. If you are in the mood to splurge and just want to treat yourself to a spectacular view while sipping your drink this would be my recommendation. While I was there, I noticed that they also have indoors seating, where they also serve food. This also has an amazing view of the South bank, London eye area along with the St Pauls dome view. We had a few cocktails, I really liked a cocktail that had clove in it. I forget it’s name. Some martini. The drinks were good and the service was attentive and polite.

We found Madison’s while walking through the area. The views cant be beat, 6 floors up and across the street from St. Peter’s cathedral. They have many signature drinks. Staff is very pleasant from the hostess, managing staff and servers. Only issue, which was minor is the price. But I thought it was worth it.

It’s hard to find a good roof terrace in Lonodon and while Madison doesn’t have a view of the whole of London, the view it has of St Pauls cathedral is spectacular. It’s a good place to take tourist friends visiting London for the first time and a good place to take a date as it’s romantic overlooking the cathedral. However, if you are on a date, you may want to think carefully about what time you arrive as it’s too epxensive to stay there all night. I suggest arriving early as it fills up toward the end of the night. Only groups can book tables on the terrace. The location inside One New Change means you can start off your night with drinks, and go to Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant inside One New Change for dinner.

Rooftop bar. Great views, awful drinks. Worst mojito I’ve ever had in my life. Not much seating, but definitely worth it just for the location. You feel like you’re on top of the world.

First off, after several people highly recommended this place, I decided to kill some time here before my flight back to Las Vegas. If you order anything but alcoholic beverage, expect it not to show up at ALL… Even after pestering for it for over an hour. Mind you I did have 3 cocktails which were immediately brought to me. My favorite cocktail was the Hot Bitch out of the three I ordered. Spicy and Sweet. The rooftop view on this 6th floor venue gave amazing views of the city especially the nighttime skyline. I even met some amazing people whom I can’t wait to catch up with in December on my return.

Ok, so first, the view. Because the view is… wow. I have been to One New Change a bunch and never knew this space was up here. But you take that great glass elevator up to floor six and are greeted with St. Paul’s in all it’s glory and a roodftop that overlooks London beautifully. And then of course, it’s not enough! Because Madison is more than a view, it’s a restaurant. Also a bar. Also another bar on the other side of the patio which is it’s own excellent cocktail bar. Now I’ve only been here for a drink and another time for a press lunch, so I can’t say about the authentic eating experience. But the cocktail was wonderfully made and the staff, friendly. I would come back here any time. It is amazing from start to finish.

I really liked the view of the Madison, that’s the first thing you notice when you take the elevator up to the 6th floor. The bar is quite expensive however, it costs around 10 pounds for a cocktail, and the line for the bar was fairly long but went kind of quick. There are areas to sit with laid back music to the left of the elevator. Go look at the view of The City before you grab a drink, since you can’t bring your drink along with you on the main part of the rooftop.

First time visiting here on a hot, sunny Sunday afternoon for cocktails on the terrace. The weather was perfect, got quite lucky. Nice, chillout catch up with a friend over drinks. Not too pretentious, found great seating near the terrace bar, what was even better, we got lounge service, which meant no queueing up! Was treating my friend to birthday drinks and chose The Rooftop — Hendrick’s Gin, Elderflower, Lime & Prosecco. For myself I opted for Strawberr’Le — Belvedere Vodka, Limoncello, Strawberry, sugar and Prosecco. Amazing long drinks for an afternoon, warning though — they are pretty strong, so take your time drinking them. They went down pleasantly well. Round 2 we opted for the Pornstar Martinis — Vanilla Vodka, Passion Fruit, Lemon & Sugar, with a shot of prosecco. I have had a lot of these at various establishments, but these have got to my favourite at Madison’s. They’re not too overpowering, hydrating and even the prosecco is relatively light and enjoyable. The service is really good, drink suggestions from the mixologists are on point too. Was a perfect afternoon. Will definitely be visiting on more occasions. it has become my new favourite rooftop bar in London

Stunning view, stunning atmosphere and stunning cocktails. A little expensive but definitely worth it. Good after work drinks place. You can sit on the lounges or stand at the bar tables. Also has a restaurant section if you would like a sit down meal. I would like to recommended a chili cocktail with passion fruit infused flavours served in a chilled glass. If you like chili this is the cocktail to go for. It’ll wake you up from the punchy freshness flavour and also leave you wanting more!

This my new favourite watering hole near work. When the suns out there no place better, great vibe, great drink, great sounds, great food If you want to «hire» specific outside space they charge £1000 as a minimum spend for a group of 12 or more. Sounds expensive but for a group of about 20 it’s only £50 each

Rooftop Bar and Trendy place full of city professionals. The cocktail bar is good, but overall nothing special on this place + it’s a bit pricey. Main reason to come here is for the view which is really impressive. Would suggest as a place to get a quick drink before you go for food on a date.

In my continuing quest to overpay for drinks in London, I find my self displeased with the Madison. Or should I say, pleased that I failed my quest and didn’t overpay. Cocktails 10 pounds. Wine from 5 and up. BUTTHEVIEW. OHTHEVIEW.

Came here for a few drinks on a friend’s hen do. Fantastic views of the city, plenty of comfy seating outside, with heaters and blankets for when it gets cold… A slight problem in that its beverages somewhat out of my price range., but it’s a great place to come for a booze with a view if you’ve got a little cash to splash.

Back in the summer of 2013, Madison’s was the place to be in central London, and it’s not hard to see why. With a huge, glass-fronted atrium for the rainy days, a spacious roof terrace for the sunny days, and an incredible view of St Paul’s all year round, it’s one of the best roof top bars you’ll find in London. When I visited a few weeks back, I also ate there for the first time with some Texan friends who were visiting London. The food is not cheap, but it is delicious. I had the Mac & Cheese with broccoli, and it was just so tasty. My friends had the lobster roll, which went down a treat, and the chateaubriand, which they also loved. We stayed for drinks afterwards — the bar service isn’t the best, but it’s not terrible. There’s plenty of room inside for a touch of light dancing, and the cocktails are pretty good. The roof terrace does get extremely busy, and you may need to queue to get in for after-work drinks unless you’ve booked in advance, especially when it’s a beautiful sunny day. It’s well worth a visit to Madison’s, especially if you’re with guests from outside of London or have been living under a rock for the last 2 years and haven’t yet been yourself!

Incredible views of the cathedral and the thames London especially as the sun sets and the decorative lights of the city come on! What a great place such an eyeopener! Definitely book if you want to sit and eat! Great for after work drinks as well! Can get very busy so arrive early! We did wait in a queue for a drink for about 20 minutes(on a tuesday) but it was outdoor and on a nice evening it doesn’t really matter if your in good company! The food was yum with lots on the menu to suit different tastes! The pâté to start was delicious(not everyone’s cup of tea i know) The cocktails were fab! The waiter even asked me what type of one i wanted then went to the bar to ask for one to be made up that wasn’t on the menu as a treat! Such a lovely setting for an evening. I will definitely go back

Forget about all the fancy bars in the Shard, this rooftop has a unique perspective on St Pauls Cathedral and it’s gorgeous ! Who knew there was such a nice place in this shopping mall? I didn’t, until one of my friend invited me. Trust me, you won’t regret it when you go out of the elevator. Don’t arrive to late, so you can grab a sit outside(there are blankets for the cold evenings) and enjoy the view. The drinks aren’t that expensive for the area and you can order some snacks. If you’re lucky enough to have a sit inside, enjoy the view while sitting in a couch: perfect !

Madison is one of my favorite spots in London; there is no other rooftop bar quite like it. Literally facing St Pauls and overlooking the Shard and the London Eye, it boasts some of the best views of London. It is extremely spacious outside(yet a small bar inside) with seating and heat lamps for the less forgiving months of the year. The wine list is varied and the cocktails are sublime. The restaurant(across from the bar) has a fun, young vibe with a diverse menu. The food is well-presented and very tasty. The service is outstanding — waiters are extremely kind, helpful and attentive. I would absolutely go back, especially to enjoy the rooftop bar in the spring and summer!

A wonderful location in the city. Great ‘afterwork drinks’ atmosphere and lovely view of St Paul’s Cathedral. A little tip for you — it gets pretty busy to get the lift to the bar(in the New Change shopping centre) after 7pm. There was a super long queue when I went on a Friday. So, get the escalator to the first floor and catch the lift there(no queue) ;) Well worth a visit if you haven’t been

Madison has some clear pros and cons, though I’d give it four stars just for its unique pros. First, if you work in the Bank area, the location is perfect. In my case, this place is about 10min walk away from my office which makes it an ideal after-work venue for any purpose. Second, the view of St Paul’s is one of a kind. Depending on the time of the day, you’ll get different experiences too, so try to be there for a couple hours to see the full spectrum of the views this place can offer. However, a clear downside is the difficulty of getting in at peak times. For example, only two elevators operate up and down the building, and there can be a huge queue to even get on the lift to get to the bar. Once at the bar, you then have to go on a quest to find a spot to stand and drink amidst a heavy crowd. The drinks are good, though can be considered pricey. I liked their finger foods last time I tried. Finally, the indoors venue is quite well-done — might be worth trying to get a table next time for a private party.

— Tapas & Cocktail bar perched atop One New Change‘s roof terrace in the City of London; overlooking the dome of St. Paul‘s Cathedral — description: From informal luncheons of wild mushrooms & our famous Buccleuch Estate Angus Beef burger, cocktail & canapé parties as night falls, to our very own house DJ, Madison really does keep you coming back for more. — we went there on a sunny Sunday afternoon for some drinks: great view, staff was friendly, drinks were tasty(esp. the strawberry margarita); cannot say anything about the food! Conclusion: I would like to come back in the evening to enjoy the view which must be even better with all the city lights turned on!
