I’d give this 3.5 stars if possible, but the quick service and inviting atmosphere made me bump it up to a 4.
I got Moroccan meatballs and lamb kofta to split with my wife for lunch. Both were good, but the lamb was better. They each came on top of brown rice and with a side of fresh slaw and a lemon slice. Squeeze that lemon over the slaw and you’ve got a very simple, crunchy, refreshing side. About 6 or 7 pounds each.
Neither of the dishes had any heat to them, and the meatballs lacked much favor. The lamb, on the other hand, was spiced nicely, and the gherkin relish on top (!?!) Surprisingly complimented it incredibly well.
We also got an order of the baked waffle fries to split. That was a mistake. Maybe it was a bad batch, but they seemed overcooked and pretty tough. But it was my own fault: ordering chips that aren’t fried is like ordering a burger without a patty– absolutely pointless.
Will I return? Not sure yet. Maybe?

I had a delicious salmon, egg and spinach muffin and a great cappuccino for £3.75!
I was on my way to a meeting and was pleased to find empty tables, free fast wifi and a loo that you don’t need a code for.
