I often have lunch here with colleagues and it is great for a healthy lunch. The chilli sin carne is a fantastic vegan dish. Really tasty and served with delicious bread. The bread here is generally great. It is a little overpriced(hence only 4 stars) but service and food are always good. Try the 1 a day green juice. Really yummy(and supposedly healthy!).

Great food, location & service. I’d rate it higher if it wasn’t so pricey! Busy place in morning but probably because the food is yummy & healthy!

outstanding French provenical cuisine, neat atmosphere, with both communal ad individual tables and friendly and efficient staff. Reminded us of food we had in Aix-en Provence and Niles. we highly recommend this restaurant.

Very cool French country vibe. Presentation of food was great and the meal itself was wonderful.

This is a convenient place to visit with a pram. Like all of the Pain Quotidien restaurants, there is a communal table going down the middle of the restaurant surrounded by smaller tables where two can sit. We could park our pram next to one of these tables. You will notice that there is an obsession with organic produce. Any place where it is possible, the item on the menu will have the word ‘organic’ in the name of the dish or its description. It is nice to know, but feels a bit overkill and trying to please a certain type of customer too much. I had eggs on toast(organic bread, obviously) with a side of prosciutto. It was a bit disappointing: the eggs were overdone and the toast was too lightly done. It was closer to bread than toast. I had a black Americano too, but it would have been better value if I had gone for a pot of coffee. I understand the pot of coffee is refillable and it was only 20p more expensive. We thought we might get some dessert, but the tarts and cakes on display looked a bit tired.

I have had brunch at this place a few times. I have ordered the PETITDÉJEUNER twice which is various types of breads, toast along with jam and various other types of spreads. This also comes with a drink/coffee. This is tasty but there is only so much bread you can have. Therefore the next time I went I ordered scrambled eggs. They were way over priced considering the amount and they definitely weren’t tasty. Three of us went for scrambled eggs and had the same opinion. I think this place is in general ok but nothing special.

This place has very good coffee, bread, pastries, and breakfast dishes. We got there early on a Sunday am and had great service but an hour later they were very busy so service was a bit slower. If you are not into a lot of noise then I would suggest to go early to avoid the crowds and small children. I had a breakfast platter with breads and spreads, yogurt with fruit, and eggs. They were all delicious and of the highest quality ingredients. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone who is a foodie.

After a long train ride my friends and I were extremely hungry. We got different types of toast and shared them. Bread was a tad soggy but the flavors were spectacular. Also had some organic hard cider which really hit the spot. Sat outside of the restaurant since the inside was so crowded. The server was extremely kind and helpful!

The restaurant with its communal table in the middle looked very impressive and we settled in to our table to peruse the menu while we waiting for our limeade drinks to arrive. Our drinks arrived and they were incredibly sour and not that pleasant but being British we didn’t complain. The dish was beautifully presented but the flavours just weren’t there. I’m not saying I wouldn’t try this restaurant again but it would have to impress me more than it did. The service was a little slow which wasn’t an issue on this occasion as it allowed time for chattering but they could have been a bit more attentive.

I had the Belgian waffle and was expecting a mediocre waffle. I was surprised to find one of the best waffles I’ve ever had. It was small in portion but very thick and not fluffy. It had a sweetness to it that is perfect. No syrup necessary. Wait staff was great and the jams and breads were so flavorful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for breakfast.

Always enjoy stopping in for a meal after days upon days of hotel food. Their menu is always interesting, clean and organic. Eating here makes me feel energised.

Le Pain Quotidien is a great spot for a quick breakfast that’s a little heartier than a muffin or bagel. The food is tasty, the service is speedy, and the spreads are scrummy. Win, win, win :)

Great at any time of day. For the business traveler this is a great option to get healthy organic food that isn’t over greasy as with most restaurants. I like this place!

The food was delicious… the coffee superb. Loved the stainless steel French press! The staff was friendly and prompt unlike most restaurants I experienced in the UK. Was nice to have someone check up on me and make sure I had everything I needed. Lovely place and great find

The food is corporate and generally mediocre. However, Stephanie would always make sure there was a hot almond croissant waiting for me when I came up from the tube at Victoria station in the afternoon. It was the second batch of the day and I cannot tell you how delicious those hot croissants were with just the right amount of almond paste. Love love Love.

We landed upon this place after our 10 days stay in Peru, and oh my… I was so happy to eat a plate of fresh veggies. The detox salad had absolutely no flavor, but I really didn’t care… put a little salt and it was fine. The curry spiced veggie soup was good… and my parents both liked it too so that’s a good thing since they are hard to impress.

I would have loved to eat a traditional English breakfast during our stay in London, but most of the breakfast spots near our hotel did not open until 10am on the weekend and we had a full day of activities planned. Le Pain Quotidien met all of our breakfast needs in London: 1. Early morning hours. 2. Walking distance from our hotel. 3. Reasonable prices. 4. Tasty French food. I ordered a croissant sandwich and my sister ordered scrambled eggs with toast and crispy prosciutto. We split our meals so I got to try both dishes. Both meals were great. The portions weren’t huge so we were full, but not stuffed at the end of the meal. There was a nice selection of jams, hazelnut butter and nutella at our table.(I tried each yummy spread on my toast and enjoyed all of them!) I highly recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice — a little pricey, but so good! The only negative thing I can say about the meal is that the service was very slow and if you choose to dine inside instead of grabbing your meal to-go there is a 18% tax added to the bill.

Good bread, butter, and coffee for a(relatively) cheap breakfast. Not as cheap as Sainsbury’s, but a little classier than eating on a park bench sitting next to Mr. Aqualung.

It is so sad when a great business idea gets too big for its britches and loses its essence. My boy describes this place as «girly” – I guess it is all the good displays and cute interior. We went for breakfast on a Sunday, although the breakfast items are only served until 12:30. Hello, this is London. At least serve eggs until 2pm please. I ended up with a frittata which I guess was being served all day. It was fine, but nothing special(note, if you really like frittatas go to Fleet Street Bakery – yum!) The bread was disappointing which is what this place is all about. The tartines are unsubstantial and the bill can get quite high here. The coffee is served in French bowls(which I love) although the large one is massive! It was a nice coffee, I must admit. Service was terrible… I thought we would never get to order and it was constant hailing to get their attention. Bummer. Alain, come fix your restaurant!
