Another fine pub by Taylor walker. Exact same menu as the other arms/pubs. Nonetheless, good menu and good service. I found a table quickly and sat down. Ordered at the bar and paid at the bar. I forget that they add 20%VAT automatically so I had double tipped, but that is Ok. Service was good. They checked up on me while I had my meal. It was quite busy while the football game was playing. Seems like a nice place for a drink alone or with friends. This time I had the bangers and mash paired with another redkorderlig(lime and strawberry). The bangers and mash does not look appealing but it tastes very good. 3 sausages on a layer of mash potatoes for(~£8.29). The cider was good as expected. Will check this place out again!

I’ve seen a few people here talking about the festive season, which I don’t know and don’t think I’ve experienced, we, however ended here with with a friend due to its proximity with our hotel and our hunger since it took us longer than expected to reach the city from the airport and we wanted to get some classic fish and chips. The fich and chips was decently good and the IPA was also nice, but I wasn’t completely impressed by the service and the pricing. The decoration is nice, it’s a bit strange to see a «watch your purse» sign in a lot of place, but well, why not.

King’s Head is a very nice little pub tucked away just off of the Queensway hustle and bustle. Great, very friendly bartenders — and filled with local Londoners. Definitely a nice stop to hang for a few drinks.

Wir haben hier nicht gegessen, doch die Speisekarte las sich gut und man war leicht preisgünstiger als in anderen Pubs. Wir haben draußen bei einem Cider gesessen und das Personal war freundlich und die Toilette sauber. Gerne wieder :-)

A nice, uncomplicated and relatively quiet pub yet only 1 block away from thronging Bayswater. Good selection of well kept beers, reasonable wines and spirits. Menu unadventurous but food well prepared and good portions. Visited during the 2013 Festive Season and the décor was both tasteful yet amusing(e.g smattering of small Santa Claus hats on bottles)

Fazit: Gerne wieder.

An alright spot. Five casks, two of which were interesting on my visit. The place has a classic pub feel. There are carpets — always a curious choice for a pub. There was a no-guff old lady handling bartending duties — a big plus. The pub seems well-organized. Prices are about average for London. An alright option for the area, although it isn’t as good as The Cleveland Arms, which is about a ten-minute walk from here.

Situated on Moscow Road just around the corner from Bayswater tube. Pub seems friendly enough with a large dining area. Landlord will considerately warn you about looking after your valuable posessions.

This is a fairly standard single-room corner pub, just around the corner from Bayswater tube station. There’s wooden panelling, a mixture of wooden and carpeted flooring, with wooden furniture. At the rear there’s a partially separated area with a screen showing sports TV. They serve a decent selection of real ales — on my visit this included Timothy Taylor, Theakston’s Old Peculier, Adnam’s Broadside, London Pride and Bateman’s Summer Swallow. It gets very lively in the evenings with a mixture of locals, commuters and tourists from the surrounding hotels. Not the most atmospheric joint, but well worth considering for an after-work pint or three.

Fantastic and relaxed neighborhood pub. Lots of great beers on draft and young, good-looking folks chatting the night away. When I first arrived in London, I went here in the evenings and had great conversations with locals while sipping on some Boddingtons.

The Kings Head is a lovely little pub on Moscow Road, an oddly named road that has alot more Greek then Russian influences on it. This pub however is a typically English affair with some dandy little messages on the chalk boards, quotes from times gone past. The pub itself is a warm and friendly place, well situated away from the bustle of the Queensway high street. The beer on tap includes some reasonably exclusive Greene King brew, and although I’m not a fan I do have alot of friends who are. There are some basic outdoor seating available though not very useful in the festive season. Enjoy
