This place is close to home, so I end up getting take out here quite a bit. They have a great selection of fresh foods and very nice staff. Each take out meal comes with prawn crackers as well, which is brilliant.

Rating this place «A-​OK» seems to me to be a little harsh, but it’s not in «Yay ! I’m a fan» territory for me. (3.5 /​5)
Don’t get me wrong, this nice, quiet (if you go early it seems), establishment has a certain charm. The menu seemed varied, even having a specific vegetarian section. The appetiser we had was run of the mill, well cooked and presented, but distinctly lacking in any kind of taste. The main was nice, surprisingly enjoyable given I’m not a huge fan of Thai. The flavours were more subtle than the «Fiery Tiger» that the menu promised.
I’d be willing to give it a second go, but I’d be looking for that kick between the eyes that should be sweet, sour, salt, bitter and hot.

Excellent restaurant, friendly service, really good food.
(NB: at the time of writing it is Bring Your Own Booze, so feel free to take a bottle of wine etc for a small corkage fee)

Been several times now with the family and the food and service are excellent only down point is that it isn’t a large restaurant so book early

I have been to Hi Bangkok three times now in the past few months (I live close by) and it is the best Thai I’ve been to in years.
