Got off the 29 bus and explored the neighborhood which consists of mostly Middle Easterners and Muslims. Halal meat markets, kebab take out shops, and Middle eastern bakeries line the street but found the smell of freshly grilling meat irresistible. Harran was also the nicest looking resto around with both take out and waiter service. Inside, there’s a homemade pastries, desserts, salads, pide, lahmacun, and ready made wraps. Their vertical spit of meat looked juicy and fresh. They start you off with a Turkish trio and some warm homemade soft and fluffy sesame seeded lavash bread. Turkish music feeds your ears.( ) * Chicken Doner £8 Tender, juicy, well seasoned dark meat chicken fresh from the spit served over fluffy and buttery rice. Addictive flavor with the added house hot sauce and fresh tzatziki.( ) * Lamb ribs £8 Tops! I’ve never seen lamb ribs this big. You get six and they’re larger/meatier than your typical lamb chop. Tender and delicious high quality meat that wasn’t gamey at all, awesome char with great grilled flavor. Ethnic man food!( ) Added a coke and green apple tango to a total of £18. CASHONLY( )
