In the heart of Soho, it is good to find somewhere to go for lunch the does not cost you an arm or a leg or any other vital organ. Most of there range is still made on site and they offer a hot and cold selection. They even offer a sausage roll, something that has been missing for the streets of London for years. I would not say that there food beats anyone else but if you are on a budget you won’t go wrong

A Greggs is quite simply a Greggs. A chain of fast-food bakeries where you can pick up a fairly decent bite to eat at a reasonable price. I wouldn’t normally review a place like this because I like to go for the more unique and non-chain places so I’m reviewing this one based on it’s location. It’s right in between Carnaby Street and Golden Square and is a short walk from Regent Street and is good for grabbing something to eat without having to pay through your arse on the main shopping streets. It’s also just off Golden Square where you can sit and eat it if it’s sunny.

When I scurry into Greggs I do it with my coat over my head like a prisoner. Yeah Greggs is white trash chav food at its best and bitch I love it, I love it! Cheese and onion pasties, cheese and pickle sandwiches, doughnuts… it’s food porn like a skeazy Soho peep show. I don’t know how I managed to survived 20 odd years in Ireland with no access to Greggs pasties. This particular Greggs is great because you can pop into nearby Golden Square park and scoff your pastries without anyone seeing your secret shame.

Always got a good selection and plently of food. Never have run out when I have gone in there. Not happy that they seem to raise the price by 5p every month though!
