Architect Director, Granit Chartered Architects

Robert Wilson is the Architect Director at London based practice Granit Chartered Architects. Set up in 1988 as a partnership, Granit specialises in residential design projects in London, the surrounding counties and throughout the world, with projects in Switzerland, France and Peru.

Wilson has led the practice since the original partnership collapsed in the early nineties. Focussing on private residential work he has developed a reputation for bespoke, challenging and high quality design. Wilson has recently led the practice into the commercial development sector, with several large scale mixed use schemes under way.

Away from residential work the practice also covers projects in the retail, office and manufacturing sectors, including the design of Jamie Oliver’s bakery and a library for the Benjamin Britten Foundation

Prior to setting up Granit Chartered Architects, Wilson worked under renowned architect Demetri Porphyrios.
