restaurant d’hôtel au dessus de la moyenne. un soin tout particulier apporté à la présentation. bon accueil et bon service ce qui est assez rare à Londres. les entrées sont bâclées (saumon et jambon cru, il manqué les toast et ceux sont vraiment deux morceaux, on dirait presque de l’apéro). entrées à éviter, insatisfaisantes et inutiles pour le prix. le reste etait à la fois bon et copieux.

I was here for a convention and even though the hotel was a 4 star, this restaurant I would give it 0 stars. Took 2 hours to get a basic plain salad and a cup of coffee with only 4 tables of 3 – 4 people per table. The food was terrible and the coffee could have been better. Horrible service, and very overpriced. I would recommend other local (if you can find places) to eat at.

This restaurant is a disaster. It’s new, but I still have doubts it will improve. I was at the Aloft for a convention, and it seems most convention-​goers had a similar experience. We arrived and were approached by a server. We told her we needed a table for 2 and, despite there being several open tables, she asked us to have a seat in the bar area. We did, and when my husband tried to get a drink at the bar, the bartender told him he didn’t serve drinks at the bar. What? Fine, whatever. We’ll wait for a table. We waited about 10 – 15 before someone who appeared to be a manager or owner came over to see if we’d been helped. We told him we’d been asked to wait and he apologized, saying it never should have happened.
Finally, we were seated. The manager apologized again as he handed us a menu and asked if we wanted anything to drink. My husband got as far as «sure, jack and – » when the manager interrupted to say our server would be over in a minute. Thanks for your concern, guy!
We ordered our food, which was good, tho very overpriced. I had a veggie burger and my husband had chicken. Rated on the taste alone, I’d give 4 stars. We were told to help ourselves to the salad bar, which was not a salad bar we usually think of. It had salad greens and dressing, shredded carrots, pasta salad, marinated olives, and cole slaw. If you’re looking for a proper salad bar, you’ll be disappointed.
Overall the place is a disappointment. Overpriced, terrible service, and a disorganized staff.
