Stumbled upon this gem on my last visit to London. Our hotel was right down the street and we decided to go in for lunch one day. WOW! It is the perfect locals spot tucked away behind Selfridges, they have a fantastic spread of foods where you choose a protein and a couple salads — very reasonably priced. We ended up having breakfast here every day. I fell in love with their granola it was simply delicious and their chai teas are also fantastic. Fantastic good healthy food in what is typically an overpriced posh area of London.

A really great experience here today. I ordered a whole swell of things for takeaway: the spinach, cheddar and egg wrap, the broccoli bread, the vegan nut smoothie(banana, cashews, vanilla, sea salt, chia seeds, almond milk & agave) and the toasted banana bread. The wrap was great: wonderful savoury flavours. Both breads are a bit dry with the banana bread, even coated with honey, being nothing more than fine. The smoothie was fantastic– all the flavours work really well together. But to make it all great, the woman behind the till was super friendly. I would DEFO return for brunch! The prices aren’t bad at all, to top it off.

Marble Arch is a largely foreign territory for me, a scary mix of the dregs of Oxford street coupled with chain restaurant after chain restaurant. So I was beyond delighted to find the daisy green café for a little spot of brunch with a friend before our park hangout. The café itself is quirky, bright and cozy, with plenty of nooks to settle into. The weekend brunch menu was simple, with an array of salads and wraps, and cooked brekky options. My friend and I both ordered a smoothie — her the banana, me the caffeine hit, chock full of almond milk, dates, and espresso! And we each ordered the bondi breakfast, which we were later told is what the guys usually order. Great! With good reason though, as it was filling, absolutely fresh and beautifully presented. Two perfectly poached eggs sat atop chewy, fresh baked sourdough. Oh and bacon, sausage, avocado, mushrooms and some fan freaking-tastic chilli pesto. Job done! Service was relaxed, but the ambiance doesn’t exactly scream business lunch! Price was reasonable for the quality and portion. So happy to have found a decent spot in the area!

We only had coffee. The flat white had been frothed too hard and ended up in cappuccino land. The double espresso was badly over-extracted and bitter. The toilets were in poor repair. On departure the bill was higher than expected because prices on the board exclude VAT. They did waive the markup when challenged so don’t let them pull that on you. Never encountered this in the UK before. All in all disappointing. Maybe the food is better?

The place is unique, to say the least. The colorful interior gives Daisy’s a really relaxed vibe. You should go there now, sit in the cozy basement and order one of their divine wraps immediately… If only to get a chance to chat with the very friendly staff

Staying at the Hyatt around the corner. Went for the brunch and what a feast. We had a little bit of everything, and even got a pound off for the coffee by checking in on Unilocal

I’ve walked by Daisy Green many times and always thought«looks like a cute place». I finally went in for lunch and now regret not going in sooner. What a great spot! The food is delicious, full of flavour and they had a nice variety to choose from. The service was warm and friendly which isn’t usually the case in London. They have a small(two tables) outside seating area, but on a nice day it’s worth enjoying your lunch or coffee in the sun. I had a sandwich, salad and pellegrino drink which came out to 9.40GBP for one person. Will I go back? Definitely! Daisy Green is being added to my favourites list.

What a lovely seating area downstairs. What interesting infatuation the café has with bananas. What an amazingly hot chef! The only thing that I didn’t like about this place was the difficulty in making my order as well as how they conveniently ran out of certain types of menu items around afternoon-time.

Finally came here for breakfast after a week in London. Why have I been waiting this long??? I ordered the green juice, which was exactly what I was looking for — a good mix of fruit and veg to rejuvenate and pump up the system that has been berated by liquid debauchery. I thought the juices would be made fresh — they were pre-made and put into pitchers. I think the juice would have tasted better if made fresh, rather than sitting around. Also, once juice has been made, the nutrients start to decay, and you may not get all the phytonutrients if the juice has been sitting around for a few hours. But that’s a minor issue — there’s still plenty of fiber and other goodies in the juice! The best part of the breakfast — the homemade banana bread. It was grilled, warm, and straight up yummy! I’ll be back just for that! It was great that there’s a quality place nearby my hotel. I’ll be back again tomorrow to sample other items on the menu!

Great spot for a weekday breakfast. Monmouth coffee is great and the smoothies are excellent. Had the avocado breakfast wrap as well which was very tasty. Can’t wait to try the banana bread and frozen yogurt.

Halleluja! Another independent & good lunch place in Marylebone. Let me tell you, every day I’m dreading the lunch hour question of «Where should we go today?» as near my office on Baker Street there’s mostly chains like Pret, Eat, Tossed and I’m really sick of their food. Today I was on my way to Green Valley(my favourite indie-lunch spot), when I discovered this lovely little place called Daisy Green. At first I thought it was another one of these hip coffeeshops that lately pop up in London like mushrooms… but upon further investigation I learned that while they do serve coffee as well, they are much more interested in selling some healthy lunch options to the Central-West London population. At first I actually just wanted to check out the place, but the staff was so nice and talked about their food so passionately, that I decided to postpone my visit to Green Valley and have lunch here instead. I ordered the mixed salad plate with beef meatballs.(Instead of meatballs, I also could’ve chosen marinated salmon, chicken strips or spinach frittata.) I was very happy with my food, especially with the size of the portion, which I thought was really generous and made my tummy really happy.(I always hate it when salad places are skimpy with their veggies — sometimes even weighing the portions.) On top of it, it was a really healthy lunch, which made me doubly happy! Thumbs up!

New favourite café! Not only does DaisyGreen have amazing home made yogurt(fat free) with delicious toppings, but they also smoke their own meat and fish for sandwiches or wraps. The staff is very pleasant and the décor has a great look and feel. DaisyGreen also has delicious home made juices. My favourite was the green juice which was made from fruits and veggies.
