The Market is alway there and very busy. A lovely feel and atmosphere. The stall holders are friendly and there are even a few bargains to be found.

I used to work close by to the market, not many people notice this but if you after a cheap eat try upstairs. There are about 4 – 5 stall type eateries offering a range of world cuisines. If I remember correctly they had Indian, Chinese, Jamaican, Italian and something else. The market itself is quite quirky and if I’m honest a bit of a tourist trap. In the sense that prices don’t quite beat other markets such as Camden or Portabello. But I guess it depends what your after. Atmosphere though is fantastic. Especially in the summer, you can sit down with a ice cream or coffee and people spot whilst enjoying some of the free street performances. There is also a band located in the basement which fills the air with familiar classical tunes. In the winter the atmosphere is very different, warm, cosy and bustling.

A must do when visiting London! There is something for everyone here. Really enjoyed the various street entertainers. There are lots of quirky shops and the market is fun things to buy and see. Plenty of bargains can be got from the market. Lots of nice, good quality cafes and restaurants to choose from too. You would need a good few hours to make the most of it though.

Covent Garden Antique Market is certainly worth a visit, particularly if you are on holiday in London and want to see the sights. Tere are lots of little shops and stalls to wonder around, but most enjoyably yu can spend time in central London just enjoying the atmosphere. There are quite often street performers at one end of the Market and it is just possible that you will find something nice to purchase too. Covent Garden is the closest tube station.

Fantastic mixture of all odds and ends. Really good for Xmas shopping and not as expensive as you’d’ve thought! Theres a man there who sells his own, very unique cufflinks, fantastic as Xmas presents. Plenty of lovely little shops mixed in too and a great atmosphere. All sorts of interesting side streets to wander down once youve tired of the crowds. Fabulous day out.

This is a great place to go and have a browse even if you don’t end up buying anythingbut I’m sure you will!‘ Aswell as all kinds of antiques there is a lot of hand made goods and the market is flanked on all sides by shops and restuarants. Its really close to the tube, within easy walking distance of Soho etc and there are great street entertainers to keep the kids happy.
