Cotswold is a wonderful albeit small outdoor/camping store in the heart of London(e.g. near Piccadilly Circus) which has a wide range of gear that is just plain fun to look at. I always stop in to see if they have my favorite style of Julbo glasses(which they didn’t this time). They have a wide range of brands and styles with the only negative that everything seems a bit pricey as compared to the US. However, if you are in the area it is worthwhile to stop in.

Though not the best outdoor shop I have ever been to, Cotswold Outdoors could certainly do a lot worse. They stock a wide selection of clothes and equipment for various activities, and there are some incredible bargains on offer if you catch it at just the right time. Last year I a managed to get hold of an Arcteryx jacket for half price, and I have found various other premium stuff at knock down prices over the years. It might be worth checking out some of the other outdoor shops if you are not bothered about the brand, but for the best known and most reliable gear, I would give Cotswold Outdoors a try before you go to any of the places around Covent Garden.
