Costa Coffee

Costa, I like the name of this shop. I tried costa in London and Pragua. And let me just say, that I wish we had this in Norway. I could easly replaced it with Starbucks or Waynes.
I get so good vibbs whenever I go in to the shop. I dont know if it is the smell, the people or the athmosfear. But I really like everything. They have so many things to buy, you just want to order and try everything. But since im allergic to milk, I need soya, almond or cocos milk. And guess what, they have all three of them. In this moment I get water in my mouth just because im thinking about this shop. Do I need to say more?

I will never order a drink from Costa again. Due to previous experience of this store adding too many ice cubes to my lemonade (the ice cubes filled up half of my large sized drink!), I thought I’ll give Costa another chance and told the staff that I would like less ice cubes in my lemonade in my return visit, and they agreed. After I paid, they gave me a drink still with too many ice cubes (still filled up half of large sized drink). I complained to them that I have already told them that I did not want that many ice cubes, and they said they could charge me more money to add more lemonade in after removing the ice cubes as they have to follow the recipe. I voiced my concern that I felt gypped that I ordered a large sized drink that is essentially the same size as a small sized one after ice cubes have been removed and it fell on deaf ears. I find this a horrible customer experience. I wish I had asked for refund back, as the staff did not apologize nor let me know that she would not be able to deliver what I asked for when I ordered the drink.

Lovely coffee shop with homemade deserts, very affordable even for us Americans. I had a medium Latte (which was larger than expected) and a pecan bite (didn’t pay close attention to the name), both for less than £5! Not bad «at all».

Been really impressed with the service from the friendly staff at this Costa store since starting my new job in Kingston in Janurary. If anything, the store maybe needs a refurbishment to get up to the standards of other Costa stores I visit occassionally.
