Surprisingly decent coffee shop. What looked like quite a shabby place turned out to be pretty decent. It was a Saturday and most of the coffee shops around Highbury and Islington station were closing around 6pm. This was the only one, other than starbucks that was still open so we thought what the heck.
I ordered a Chai Latte that was cheap and turned out to be in a large cup and pretty decent. There was also a full range of Fentimans ginger beer along with a largish selection of desserts.
The place was pretty small, but service was quick and efficient despite there being only one member of staff. Would definitely stop by again, perfect place if you’re not looking for a drink at the pub next door and it’s still too early for dinner.
