What a turnaround from opening day.
Such hospitality and warmth from the ownership and service team. The size of the products (top burrito in London IMO) has increased as well. Free chips are the norm.
Oh, and they have a great loyalty program: buy 5 get a 6th burrito free.

I went to Chimis burrito bar yesterday. Being a relative newbie to London I was interested to try some mexican — as its been ages. I went in for lunch and had a beef burrito with cheese, guacamole, salsa and jalapenos. Wow… Absoulutely amazing food, nice décor and brilliant staff. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended indeed:)

I went to Chimi’s a couple of days after they opened and was determined to have an open mind given the reviews I’d seen. Unfortunately — at that point — I have to agree with everything everyone said. Size wise, the burrito looked more like a pathetic pret wrap and the staff even had a discussion infront of me that 5 pieces of lettuce was too much for one serving.
However — I was in a bit of a rush today and decided to give them one more go, and I have to say — they really have bucked up their ideas. Today’s version is much more like it. I’d still choose put the burrito van as number 1 in the area, but £6.10 for a chicken burrito (pre guac tax, but with slightly nicer meat) for something the same size isn’t a bad deal.
