Specialties
C&R Restaurant, not to be confused with the more laid-back Soho version (C&R Café Restaurant), is definitely more of a dinner spot, and a good one at that, situated in the fairly culinarily sparse Westbourne Grove. Not one of London’s cheapest Malaysian spots, but their dishes make up for it, and they even offer a good selection of halal options, so there’s something for everyone. A succulent Prawn satay is a great choice of starter and makes a nice change from the usual dry chicken skewers that get dumped on your table when you fancy a peanut sauce. In fact C&R Restaurant have a great selection of fresh seafood, and their sea bass comes highly recommended. For something a little wetter, they also serve up a delicious Santan (coconut milk) Soup, as well as all the usual Malaysian favourites

Jexsen L.
Manager
I’m Jexsen the manager of C&R Bayswater, a family-run malaysian restaurant in Westbourne Grove, Our head chef Ben, my cousin, cooks the best malay speciality dishes like malaysian chilli crab, fish head vermicelli soup and fish head curry. You rarely find them on any other menu in London. We are a family business and C&R stands for Chung & Rosa, the names of my aunt and uncle (and also bosses) who opened C&R, rather than Café & Restaurant which many people online believe
