Burberry

There are two separate Burberry stores next door to each other on Brompton Road in London. There is a woman’s shop next to a separate men’s shop. The Women’s store is a two-​story beauty with the Burberry Prorsum, London, and Brit Collections. Of course, this location has a large assortment of hand bags, scarves, and shoes. I love the new monogramming. There is also a children’s section upstairs… so cute! True to legendary Burberry service, my kind and friendly associate assisted me in finding the perfect coat to keep me warm. VAT information is quickly and efficiently processed for returning customers.

Great selection, this is the biggest Burberry store I have ever seen, they have everything from Brit to Prorsum and huge children’s department on the second floor. However, the Asian salesperson I had was a little bit annoying, she to tried to sell me everything she saw on her way! I was looking for gloves for myself and a bag or purse for my girlfriend, but was proposed to buy and evening dress or children’s boots.

This is by far the best Burberry Shop in London!

Because they have a wide range of Burberry products and (!) they offer excellent customer service!

I love Burberry. I have three coats but I haven’t managed to acquire the classic beige colored trench yet. I went here in hopes of perhaps purchasing one.
The saleslady that helped me, Lena, was really nice about the whole process. She explained to me the different cuts of the trench that they have (slim, classic, and a bit wider). She was patient with letting me wear many cuts and sizes.
I finally decided that I liked the Kensington mid length coat, classic fit — the slim fit had buttons that were too close to each other and thus did not look as nice in my opinion.
I’m still deliberating on whether to drop the $ 1600+ USD but if I do decide, I will definitely go back to this store and pick it up!

Better prices than at Toronto’s Bay/​Bloor. For sure. Being either their flagship store or a high profile incarnation (given it’s proximity to Harrods and Sloane street and down the road from the Mandarin hotel), you would think service would be a bit better. It was hard to «nick» a sales person in the men’s department for shoes. The poor guy on duty was doing a lot of running around and also manning cash. C’mon.

Burberry has many stores in London, but the Brompton Road one is one of its biggest, offering a very wide choice of traditional and contemporary clothes.
This high end English brand, famous for interesting designs, good quality, and of course its signature haymarket check pattern and a knight logo, manufactures men’s and women’s clothes of all ranges. It’s particularly respected for its elegant trench coats that convey a classically British noble look.
The selection of suits and other official wear is pretty good as well. There’s also plenty of stylish smart casual clothes and some nice handbags, luggage items and other leather products. Some casual sports clothes from the lines aimed at younger customers is there too.
The prices are fairly high, especially in light of the fact that manufacturing of many products is now outsourced to Asia and north Africa, although most upscale items are usually Italian made. The quality of some items of lower end lines, while still fine, is not what it used to be, in my experience. Thankfully though, they still retain the sophisticated designs and quality of my favourite high end classic Burberry collections. That’s what it has been traditionally best for.
