This place is average in the extreme. It’s not bad, I wouldn’t advise against it, but I can’t recommend it either really. It is a utlitarian place, you go here because you are outside it, want a curry and can’t be bothered to walk anywhere else. It’s a little drab inside, the menu is exactly the same as you will find in 1000s of other Indian restaurants across the capital and they deliver. _____________________________________________________ As I do with all curry houses the dahl mini-review: Their dahl tarka is a 3/5, loose and quite tastey, but by no means a masterpiece. If this dahl was a dinner date it would be with Frances McDormand(Fargo) at Pizza Express, not Kate Winslet at The Fat Duck. _____________________________________________________ In summary, this feels like a Wimpy franchise. Slightly down at heel, nothing interesting about it, the menu is the same as everyone else’s and the food tastes the same as all the other run of the mill Bangladeshi-English-Indian restaurants.
