My husband and I live near Battersea Park and were really pleased to find this little gem just a short walk from our home. We have already been three times in the past couple of months as we enjoy it so much! One of my favourite dishes is the ‘Croquetas de Jamón y pollo’. They are full of flavour with the perfect amount of cheese-y filling. Another dish I love is the ‘Pincho de Solomillo de ternera con foie y P.X.’ The beef is super tender and combined with the flavour of the fois makes for a savoury party in your mouth! Other dishes that we have tried are the ‘Langostinos a la parrilla con ajo y perejil’, ‘Arroz negro’ and the ‘Paella de pescado y marisco’. There wasn’t a dish that we didn’t like. The restaurant has a modern and sophisticated feel, whilst the servers are polite and attentive. They have a good wine and cocktail selection, and I really enjoy the house bubbles ‘Anna de Codorniu, Brut’. The value for money is pretty good, although I would say that the ‘Arroz negro’(black rice with squid and mussels) could have done with a little more seafood. Be prepared to spend around £50 for dinner for 2, including drinks. It gets quite busy on Friday and Saturday evenings, so remember to book to avoid disappointment!

This place has gotta be the most reasonably priced tapas in all of London, and very very tasty as well. Everything you could want from a traditional tapas place, my favourites being the croquetas, fresh squid, iberico ham, papas bravas, and of course fruity sangria to go with it all.

Went here last night for my friend’s birthday. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were four of us, and between us we ordered; Bread with tomato, olive oil and garlic Chorizo with cider Patatas bravas Croquetas with Iberian ham and chicken Octopus with paprika on bed of potatoes Aubergine cannelloni with goat cheese and mushrooms Suckling pig with sweet potato crisps, apple sauce & lemon sorbet Mini beef burgers Luckily, there were four pieces of the bread, and small mountains of chorizo, octopus and patatas bravas. The suckling pig was fairly easy to share as well. However, there were three croquetas, three aubergine cannelloni and two mini beef burgers(which we were warned about, and did cut in half fairly easily)! It would be good if the menu specified how each portion was split up so that sharers can work out the best way, but overall this was definitely more than enough food for the four of us, and every item was delicious(though I can most heartily recommend the patatas bravas — just the right amount of spice and creaminess — and the croquetas — I could live off those for the rest of my life!) Yum =D Oh, and the mini burgers were served with teeny-weeny chips, which was pretty awesome! My friend was most excited about the sherry, and it did not disappoint; particularly the 1847. Both types of Espresso Martini went down very smoothly as well(an apéritif version and a dessert version!), and I had the Kiwi cocktail — it was strong but tasty, though more reminiscent of cucumber than kiwi… The honey Bellini was a popular choice as well, with a very full on honey flavour! We had brought a cake with us and the staff happily brought it out for us, candles lit, and joined us in singing happy birthday which was lovely. They also very efficiently boxed it back up for us, after we each had our sliver and proceeded to order dessert! Don’t judge ;) Disappointingly, they had just sold the last chocolate soufflé, but the cheesecake was recommended to us and WOW was it good! Very different to anything I’ve had before, probably best likened to the custard bit of a crème brûlée but not as sweet. We also shared some churros(it has to be done!) and these were deliciously crispy yet moist dough sticks with a very rich hot chocolate. Delicious! We were the last ones there, but the staff never made us feel pressured to hurry up. They did put the shutters down the door as soon as we stepped out of it though haha. At times it was quite difficult to catch the waiters’ attention, but the friendliness of the service went some way towards making up for this! We spent between £25 and £40 each — not bad for the amount of food and alcohol we consumed. It made for a great, fairly grown up-feeling birthday gathering. Just what we were looking for.
